Taters Au Gratin
What is one food eaten all around the world? Potatoes! What's one of our favorite ways to eat it? Au Gratin! But I'm not going to make them from a box, I'm making them from scratch and I'll show you how! Here's the recipe:
3-4 medium potatoes
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup milk
2 tbsp flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 tbsp dry parsley flakes
Peel potatoes and slice thin (⅛ inch) then mince 4 cloves of garlic.
In a mixing bowl, add heavy whipping cream, milk, minced garlic, flour, salt, and black pepper and whisk until blended.
Grease 9”x13” pan with butter, then spread sliced potatoes out in pan. Pour cream all over sl...

I use the 5-5-5 method in my instant pot. I haven't had a hard to peel egg ever since. These look just like the ones I make. They're delicious!
@@susanbashynski1373 never used a instant pot, I've heard you can even use an oven to do eggs but I'm not sure I want to try

Put your eggs in boiling water and they will peel perfectly.. starting them in water thats noy boiling and well.. you end up with tore up eggs like these.
😊boil for 9 minutes only.
@@Girlcancook I just prefer this since adding them to boiling water can sometimes result in an egg falling a little too hard in the water and cracking on the bottom. I've used a serving spoon to lay them in but that is a little slower and then the eggs don't all get the same time in the water...either way works for me though, just a matter of preference...thanks for the comment!
Sprinkle a Lil paprika own top and wow. They are addictive.

@@rachelsgibson8318 well, the yokes didn’t turn into bouncy balls so they didn’t boil TOO long, and the outside of the yokes didn’t turn grey so there’s that…
