I was halfway through this interview trying to think who she reminded me of and couldn't put my finger on it. She's like the broadway version of Jennifer Lawrence 😂 so grounded, down to earth, humble and honest. love the girl.

I'm so glad that Les Miz is coming back to broadway in March since I became a fan a bit too soon.
Sierra Boggess is my Barbra Striesand!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard her during Phantom and I instantly fell in love with her voice. She's helped me to love broadway as much as I do now!!!!
I never watch celebrity interviews, but Sierra's interviews are some of the few I do enjoy watching :) I cant help but smile in all of them!

She literally is a perfect human being. I am blessed enough to be seeing her in Phantom sometime in February and hopefully will pull a Sierra-Barbara if I can meet her at the stage door after the performance. Tears, sweat, and shaking. That's all I'm gonna reveal.

I had the chance to meet Sierra after me and friends went to see Les Mis, and she was just as lovely as she is on interviews, although we were all so starstruck!
She is to me what Barbra is to her.
And she was the best Fantine, I was in tears throughout.
I was lucky enough to see her play Fantine in November; she was just amazing. Such a unique approach to the character, and it could have gone so wrong, but she did it wonderfully. I got her autograph after the show; I was so excited (and I didn't do a great job of containing that excitement), but she was very nice (if a little quiet). Tam was also friendly (Best.Javert.Ever.)
Sierra is so amazingly talented (and absolutely gorgeous).

I'd only seen two other portrayals; one was very bland and lifeless (not in a good way), and the other was way too angry for my liking. Sierra's Fantine was very fragile and soft-spoken. It made Fantine so much more pitiful than the typical portrayal, which I liked. It also made her seem more innocent, which makes the descent into prostitution sadder. It could have gone wrong because of how softly she was singing, but you could hear every single word crystal clearly. It was amazing.
And knowing her dad... yup... he's THE Jean Valjean we all adore!

How how was her approach to the character different then other actresses you've seen in the role? I've only seen the show once but I knew head of time how differen the actressess would be.
