I respect Sierra for being a vegetarian, I would to if I didn't love meat so much xD (I respect everyone's life choices and opinions, I just hope I get the same respect for my life choices and opinions)

All my pets are rescued and have the best home ever. We had to put my first two dogs down because they were suffering. One in 2010 and one just last year. I was bawling even after leaving the animal hospital. We burried them in our backyard with tombstones for each of them. The one we just put down last year was a German Shepherd and she lived to be 18!! Thats longer than most dogs, nevermind her breed. Love them both with all my heart. They were there for me even before I first came home from the hospital. (;

There are a lack of spay and neuter services in rural areas where many unwanted pets come from. Also, Thank you Sean Casey and all local rescues who actually pull animals from so called shelters, and save their lives. Third, the NYC ACC has a reputation of being deplorable. Contact your local city council member and Mayor's office regarding improving the condition of the ACC.

Being vegan is much harder than vegetarian. It usually requires pill supplements of some sort and a lot of doctors appointments, especially for a Broadway performer - because they burn a lot of calories and need a lot of food to stay healthy and energized :)
On the contrary, eating a plant based diet provides less doctors visits due to the clean eating, more energy due to the natural carbohydrates, and less supplements due to the abundance of vitamins plant based foods have. She would be even healthier and more vibrant on a vegan diet. The only vitamin you may need to supplement is B12 as it is only found in meat and dairy products due to the not so clean soil the animal eats, (still originally plant based) There are lots of vegan performers and athletes such as Jared Leto (30 seconds to Mars),Anja Keister (Burlesque Performer), Michael Lee Aday (aka Meat Loaf), Brian Anderson (Professional skateboarder),Jonathon Boyer (Cyclist), Brendan Brazier (Iron man triathlete),Montserrat Caballe (Opera singer), The list goes on. Your very welcome! :D Yes, going vegan can be challenging but so is everything if you dive in blindly. If you have obtained enough data through research, resources, medical articles, holistic articles, MD's vegan and non, health should be your ultimate motivation if not ethical and/or environmental. Eliminating meat and dairy will be most challenging overall not only because of the addictive qualities refined sugars and processed foods have (same as cocaine) which will result in detoxing which maybe uncomfortable, but also the lack of nutritional knowledge we have thinking we can only get certain vitamins from these types of food sources which is not true. Being open minded from the SAD lifestyle (Standard American Diet) is the only way to see that a plant based lifestyle is worth it! :D
