(A Williebob Adventure) Santa Cruz Lake NM

Two days of camping & hiking & taking a nice a nape. First night I had the whole place to myself nice. There are trails at the campground Then the drive to the lake there is a fun river trail. I hike it first. then off to the lake. Once at the lake I like to hike the left side with views of the lake & the dam after that I like to go over to the dam there are 6.4 miles of trails. Hiking the Santa Cruz river is a must. Looks like the fishing is good & sometimes I take my little raft with a trolling motor & cruz the lake. It is best to have 2 or 3 days. HAPPY TRAILS

No they did not open the lower campground by the lake. And it does not look to me like they are going to. The upper campground is nice.
