I agree with what Dave could’ve been but in Zoey’s case, almost everyone from the 2nd generation cast was unaware of Mike’s D.I.D due to not being familiar with it.
still, she was worse in All Stars cuz the writers wanted Mal to make it to the top. even when she found the pieces, Zoey took WAY too long to put them together.
I kinda like her cause if her aggression and anger that’s festering inside of her that waiting to come out, like in her “commando” arc. Literally the best parts of her and the season
Amy pisses me off the most out of anyone. Unlike Dave who started off as kinda sympathetic and Sugar who had a couple comedic moments, Amy was pure insufferable every second she was on screen. Stephanie from Ridonculous Race also gets very tiring and the Haters lasted WAY too long.
Sierra had a couple funny moments in World Tour but she was just a nuisance in All-Stars. She’s a pretty boring character without Cody so why they didn’t have Owen, Dawn, or Brick compete instead is beyond me.
THANK YOU for acknowledging how bad of a character Courtney became. Everyone thinks of her as an icon and I just remember the time where she was about to drop Owen, DJ, Tyler, and Cody to their deaths
It hurts me so much that Zoey gets so much hate. It's true, maybe her personality isn't the most memorable, but sometimes it's best to have a break from the generic stereotype characters and having someone that feels more like a person, and I think she does that really well, unlike other contestants that tried to be that, like Dave. She also was nice but not in an exaggerated way, she was just acting like a good person around others, and she didn't depend that much on her friends, she had a lot of good moments on her own. Although it's true that I'm talking only about ROTI, because it didn't help that All-stars actually made all the complaints people had on her debut absolutely true, like she became super dumb and clueless with much less of personality besides being Mal's sheep, and it really hurt to watch her be fooled so easily. So yeah, in All-stars she kinda sucks, but in Revenge of the Island she's one of the best of the first new cast, and even if you don't see her as that much, it's still criminal to put her below characters like Eva, Staci and even Leonard, and it's even worse considering Sadie and Katie aren't even on the list.
I think the reason why people hate her so much is because she is mostly remembered for All Stars. In ROTI she showed to become stronger and more sure of herself in the end, though this was immediately reversed a season later. Similar to Courtney being disliked bc of her appearance in seasons 3 and 5.

This is why Pahkitew Island is a bad season, it focuses on the characters' stereotypes but never develop them outside from that. Save Shawn, Jasmine, Samey, and maybe even Sky, almost all of them were one note which made them annoying because it was just one gimmick.

Thank goodness Mike isn't in the list. I get that his entire schtick is having MPD (and if they portrayed it well or not is subjective), but I never hated him on his own. I always found him a pretty sweet dude
I absolutely love Mike and all his personalities. Honestly, not many shows portrayed DID properly at the time, so i'd blame that less on the writers and more on the time.
I think Zoey and Courtney shouldn’t be here. Their problem is that the writers couldn’t write them in all stars, but they’re good characters in their first seasons
Sierra could’ve been a *actual* love interest for Cody she could’ve been evil at first ( since she knows everything about everyone apart from alejandro )but a few episodes before her elimination she could’ve been a plot twist character and started to be a better person which would’ve made Cody actually like her instead of yk what they did to her I mean when Chris wanted the last three to go to the final destination sierra could’ve been a nicer person and this couldve helped her character in all stars

Personally I like Eva. They could've gone real far with her as she could've been a *very* threatening villain due to her physical strength and intimidation factor. Even Heather was afraid of her which was why she went out her way to indirectly cause Eva's elimination.
I actually liked Courtney. I liked her competitive nature and desire to win but I don’t approve of her methods to get what she wants. It broke my heart to see how the writers did her in, “Sunday Muddy Sundae”💔

To be honest, Ezekiel should’ve gotten a chance to prove himself. Technically it’s not his fault since he was raised by sexist parents and homeschooled his whole life. When he was voted off in World Tour, you could clearly see how pissed off Zeke was, probably with the cast and the show itself becoming feral in the process. I’d like to think right now he’s been given antibiotics.
Amy and Samey looked like the dynamic of Katie and Sadie taken to the other extreme. While Katie and Sadie were BFFs who happened to have their hair and clothes identical to one another, they would have been better siblings compared to Amy and Samey, who not only have a toxic relationship as siblings but are practically each other's sworn enemy. Even though that feels more one-sided with Amy trying to control Samey's life.

Amy treating Sammy like a slave makes me mad a lot and feel sorry for Sammy just because Amy is born the older twin and Sammy is the younger twin makes Amy feel like she is more powerful towards Sammy and views her as the weaker twin who is powerless. I know that she is the whole evil twin version of Sammy and all but can’t she at least be nice to Sammy just this once .
I have a hc that Amy is projecting. She calls Sammy "Lazy" while being lazy herself, and says that Sammy couldn't do anything right while Amy herself doesn't do so (Dave is an easy target, that Amy was really close to, but she cannot even shoot him from there). Though Amy could be far less competent, she's still quite strong bcs she swam from a long distance back to the island just to Sammy eliminated

I still found some characters I like on this list :') Anne Maria isnt very likeable it's true but she did have one of the best quotes of the serie. Courtney and Zoey are so controversial. I know why people dislike them but I never did. Zoey was really good in season 4, before becoming blind in all stars. And Courtney in season 1 was just perfect. And I know it's really controversial but I like Blaineley idk why XD. She was just funny during the two episodes she competed in
Anne Maria actually does have morals I'll give her that. She was upset at Jo for disregarding her teammate's lives and even thanks Cameron for saving her in RotI's finale

In my opinion, Mal could be a much better villain, he could be a Heather 2.0, manipulate his "friends" (Cameron and Zoey) and instead of breaking things all the time, makes him really trying to eliminate someone like the other villains (And among all participants, he only eliminated *1* )

Scott left because Zoey wanted to go to the final with "Mike", Cameron for Zeke because he was the one who made Cameron get hurt all over. Duncan doesn't even need to say.. He literally blew up a mansion to prove he was villain. So there were only two, Alejandro and Gwen, Gwen's was not even manipulated, he simply left Gwen's structure ugly and she was injured and I don't even know why she left because she had done the challenge and just because it was ugly, she left and Alejandro was the only one that Mal manipulated the others into voting for him, and look if Alejandro didn't tell Mal that he was really being Mike's evil Mal, maybe he would still be alive. This Zoey thing was ridiculous because even with proof, she still believed that Mike was there maybe if it was another character, it wouldn't be stupid of the person
Mal was honestly just the bland one-note villain of the show they put way too much hype for. His entire personality is "I'm bad". It's one of the most cartoonish and childish depictions of a Final Boas Villain ever. Any character who could have stood up against him was written to be extremely dumb or naive. Case in point; Duncan, Alejandro, Zoe, Cameron were all written like complete idiots just so they can stretch out the Mal story to the finale.

Zoey is definitely one of my favorite in general and TDROTI characters right next to Mike and Scott. Zoey is genuinely a great character and I love the fact that she is kind and supportive, I also know people think she is a flat character WHICH SHE IS NOT! She has depth, she trusts people to easily, always wants to see the good in people, when she goes Commando Zoey she tries to stop emotions and win at all costs and at the end of TDROTI she learns that she was a bit to trusting, has some clouded judgment when it comes to people she cares about and she realizes that she needs to stand up for the people she loves. It’s such a shame that All Stars ruined all of her growth but in a way showed some that she still has flaws. I really don’t understand why people hate her so much :/

He was a narcissist cheater , a criminal and a bully , he blew a house for fun , played two women like trash and he got away with it.

Honestly they could've made Mal much better with one simple change. Don't have him be evil for the sake of evil. Give him actual motivation. Maybe he's a defense mechanism in Mike's head. Instead of him being a cliche villain character, make him the overly violent yet insanely smart one in Mike's head. It's THAT easy.
Mal is supposed to be Mike's original personality. Mike went juvy at one point in his past, and Duncan literally states, in the show, that he remembers mike from juvy, before mike reformed. Mal isn't evil for the sake of being evil, he wants to regain control of the body that was originally his.
Gotta disagree with Zoey. She's a great character. Yes she's naive at times but she's a small town girl with few to no friends, so it makes sense she tries to see the good in people as to retain her newly formed bridges.

Not gonna lie, but I felt so sorry for Mike, himself, when Mal trapped in his own mind. Also, it was indirectly Scott’s fault for unleashing Mail, as he was the one who gave Mike that head injury.
I've always liked Sierra. Not my favorite but certainly not one of the worst for me. I think Dave had a lot of potential at the beginning but they ruined him, honestly I believe he still does have potential in him so I hope someday they bring him back. I refuse to let him go. 😂 Honestly, in my top 10 of worst characters, I'd be ranking Max as the worst one... he's one of the most stupid mistakes the producers have ever made to this show. Fun fact: the majority shown in this list are from Pahkitew, and this is because most contestants from that season are rather one-dimensional, far from the complex yet funny characters we used to have in the first seasons. I believe the producers PARTIALLY redeemed themselves with Ridiculous Race but I know they're never going to get as high in quality as it was when they started. To me Ella was a wasted potential character. Instead of her being a doormat throughout her entire arc they could've added a scene where Sugar finally pushes her over the edge and she snaps (Kinda like Zoey towards the end of Revenge) and becomes a completely different character. But instead they just made her a filler character.

If they ever do a season where some Pakithew Island characters return, I'd love to see Amy return without Sammy (maybe Sammy tricks her into thinking they're both going so she can finally have some peace at home). Amy would be forced to actually compete and develop a personality beyond "I hate my sister."
I don’t like Mike and Zoey a lot, mostly because of all stars, but the worst of the worst in MY opinion is Duncan, in season one he was decent, but he just becomes awful afterwards. My biggest problem with him is actually season 2, people try to pin it as one of his best seasons, and I can’t disagree more. It seemed like from the get-go, Duncan’s main trait became being a bully. He was an interesting and compelling character 99% of the time in Island, but in Action, by episode TWO he was messing with Trent’s head, and even started his derailment. Then he starts picking on Harold shortly after, and he has the weakest excuse, “he got Courtney booted last season” completely missing the fact that it only happened because Duncan pushed Harold to that point, if Duncan wasn’t bullying Harold, Harold wouldn’t have rigged the votes. Duncan can act however he wants, but the moment he gets ANY semblance of karma, he throws a huge fit and victimizes himself. Duncan makes fun of Lindsay (for her feet size in the princess pride), fights with Justin (again, they were constantly beefing in the princess pride, that was just an awful episode for Duncan), stays with Courtney just for her looks, and makes moves on Gwen in the process, and so much more. How does ANYONE like this man when he is constantly AWFUL to everyone and never gets any comeuppance. And the plot armor he has OH MY GOSH. As bad as someone like Staci or Amy were, you can’t say they had plot armor. But Duncan is just constantly getting lucky and it gets annoying. In the Leshawna round in action, Duncan should go home, but Courtney convinces Harold to vote Leshawna, his bestie/crush, over Duncan, his bully. HOW?!?! Her points weren’t even that good. Two eliminations later we reach the Lindsay round. She accidentally votes for herself, something that never happened before NOR after this episode, just to keep Duncan in despite the fact he had no plot this season. The very next elimination, Courtney, the person who has carried him ever since she got back, is about to go, but random spider never brought up before or after this episode randomly pops up and eliminated Harold. He is always awful and never punished, I love a good Villian, but the show has convinced itself that Duncan is a hero so he gets away with everything.

Mal did not deserve to make this list at all, much less be at the top. That entire multiple personality arc is part of what made All-stars so great! He's not even a standalone character he's one of Mike's alternate personas, so of COURSE he's gonna be one-dimensional. You wanna talk about one-dimensional villains? You should have put Max from Pahkitew Island at the top of this list! I'm surprised he didn't even make this list at all. I can't think of anyone who actually likes that character.

But no the writers made him look like a pathetic creepy simp that can't handle a rejection. Also I actually like Ezekiel the most. Amy pisses me off the most out of anyone. Unlike Dave who started off as kinda sympathetic and Sugar who had a couple comedic moments, Amy was pure insufferable every second she was on screen. Stephanie from Ridonculous Race also gets very tiring and the Haters lasted WAY too long.

It hurts me so much that Zoey gets so much hate. It's true, maybe her personality isn't the most memorable, but sometimes it's best to have a break from the generic stereotype characters and having someone that feels more like a person, and I think she does that really well, unlike other contestants that tried to be that, like Dave. She also was nice but not in an exaggerated way, she was just acting like a good person around others, and she didn't depend that much on her friends, she had a lot of good moments on her own. Although it's true that I'm talking only about ROTI, because it didn't help that All-stars actually made all the complaints people had on her debut absolutely true, like she became super dumb and clueless with much less of personality besides being Mal's sheep, and it really hurt to watch her be fooled so easily. So yeah, in All-stars she kinda sucks, but in Revenge of the Island she's one of the best of the first new cast, and even if you don't see her as that much, it's still criminal to put her below characters like Eva, Staci and even Leonard, and it's even worse considering Sadie and Katie aren't even on the list.
I think the reason why people hate her so much is because she is mostly remembered for All Stars. In ROTI she showed to become stronger and more sure of herself in the end, though this was immediately reversed a season later. Similar to Courtney being disliked bc of her appearance in seasons 3 and 5.

This is why Pahkitew Island is a bad season, it focuses on the characters' stereotypes but never develop them outside from that. Save Shawn, Jasmine, Samey, and maybe even Sky, almost all of them were one note which made them annoying because it was just one gimmick.

When he was voted off in World Tour, you could clearly see how pissed off Zeke was, probably with the cast and the show itself becoming feral in the process. Amy and Samey looked like the dynamic of Katie and Sadie taken to the other extreme. While Katie and Sadie were BFFs who happened to have their hair and clothes identical to one another, they would have been better siblings compared to Amy and Samey, who not only have a toxic relationship as siblings but are practically each other's sworn enemy. So there were only two, Alejandro and Gwen, Gwen's was not even manipulated, he simply left Gwen's structure ugly and she was injured and I don't even know why she left because she had done the challenge and just because it was ugly, she left and Alejandro was the only one that Mal manipulated the others into voting for him, and look if Alejandro didn't tell Mal that he was really being Mike's evil Mal, maybe he would still be alive. This Zoey thing was ridiculous because even with proof, she still believed that Mike was there maybe if it was another character, it wouldn't be stupid of the person

It's one of the most cartoonish and childish depictions of a Final Boas Villain ever. Any character who could have stood up against him was written to be extremely dumb or naive. Case in point; Duncan, Alejandro, Zoe, Cameron were all written like complete idiots just so they can stretch out the Mal story to the finale.

Zoey is definitely one of my favorite in general and TDROTI characters right next to Mike and Scott. Zoey is genuinely a great character and I love the fact that she is kind and supportive, I also know people think she is a flat character WHICH SHE IS NOT! She has depth, she trusts people to easily, always wants to see the good in people, when she goes Commando Zoey she tries to stop emotions and win at all costs and at the end of TDROTI she learns that she was a bit to trusting, has some clouded judgment when it comes to people she cares about and she realizes that she needs to stand up for the people she loves. It’s such a shame that All Stars ruined all of her growth but in a way showed some that she still has flaws. I really don’t understand why people hate her so much :/

Honestly they could've made Mal much better with one simple change. Don't have him be evil for the sake of evil. Give him actual motivation. Maybe he's a defense mechanism in Mike's head. Instead of him being a cliche villain character, make him the overly violent yet insanely smart one in Mike's head. It's THAT easy.
Mal is supposed to be Mike's original personality. Mike went juvy at one point in his past, and Duncan literally states, in the show, that he remembers mike from juvy, before mike reformed. Mal isn't evil for the sake of being evil, he wants to regain control of the body that was originally his.
Gotta disagree with Zoey. She's a great character. Yes she's naive at times but she's a small town girl with few to no friends, so it makes sense she tries to see the good in people as to retain her newly formed bridges.
I know, not to mention her relationship with Mike during roti was arguably the nicest parts.

Honestly, in my top 10 of worst characters, I'd be ranking Max as the worst one... he's one of the most stupid mistakes the producers have ever made to this show.
Fun fact: the majority shown in this list are from Pahkitew, and this is because most contestants from that season are rather one-dimensional, far from the complex yet funny characters we used to have in the first seasons. I believe the producers PARTIALLY redeemed themselves with Ridiculous Race but I know they're never going to get as high in quality as it was when they started. The show has gone down from many many years

I Think You Missed Katie and Sadie. They Were Annoying As Hell,and When Katie Was Eliminated In Island,Sadie Was Just a Total Background Character For the Next 3 Episodes Until Her Elimination.

If they ever do a season where some Pakithew Island characters return, I'd love to see Amy return without Sammy (maybe Sammy tricks her into thinking they're both going so she can finally have some peace at home). Why the hell is Zoey on this list? I honestly think she's one of the best characters. Definitely in my top 5 favorites.

Honestly Ezekiel was okay in my opinion.it was pretty sad for him though bc he would always get voted off and was pretty poor.
I don’t like Mike and Zoey a lot, mostly because of all stars, but the worst of the worst in MY opinion is Duncan, in season one he was decent, but he just becomes awful afterwards. My biggest problem with him is actually season 2, people try to pin it as one of his best seasons, and I can’t disagree more. It seemed like from the get-go, Duncan’s main trait became being a bully. He was an interesting and compelling character 99% of the time in Island, but in Action, by episode TWO he was messing with Trent’s head, and even started his derailment. Then he starts picking on Harold shortly after, and he has the weakest excuse, “he got Courtney booted last season” completely missing the fact that it only happened because Duncan pushed Harold to that point, if Duncan wasn’t bullying Harold, Harold wouldn’t have rigged the votes. Duncan can act however he wants, but the moment he gets ANY semblance of karma, he throws a huge fit and victimizes himself. Duncan makes fun of Lindsay (for her feet size in the princess pride), fights with Justin (again, they were constantly beefing in the princess pride, that was just an awful episode for Duncan), stays with Courtney just for her looks, and makes moves on Gwen in the process, and so much more. How does ANYONE like this man when he is constantly AWFUL to everyone and never gets any comeuppance. And the plot armor he has OH MY GOSH. As bad as someone like Staci or Amy were, you can’t say they had plot armor. But Duncan is just constantly getting lucky and it gets annoying. In the Leshawna round in action, Duncan should go home, but Courtney convinces Harold to vote Leshawna, his bestie/crush, over Duncan, his bully. HOW?!?! Her points weren’t even that good. Two eliminations later we reach the Lindsay round. She accidentally votes for herself, something that never happened before NOR after this episode, just to keep Duncan in despite the fact he had no plot this season. The very next elimination, Courtney, the person who has carried him ever since she got back, is about to go, but random spider never brought up before or after this episode randomly pops up and eliminated Harold. He is always awful and never punished, I love a good Villian, but the show has convinced itself that Duncan is a hero so he gets away with everything.

Why do people hate Zoey she’s a good character and person,although I do agree she was clueless in all stars;well at first but she slowly started to come to her senses and saw when something was wrong but she wanted to dismiss it but I still don’t think she is a bad character.
I have to stand up for the majority of the characters that you portrayed as "most hated", cause I personally don't hate probably half or more of them, but I have to give you big credits for being the first one that talked about how much MAL is hated, I was almost starting to think I am the only one that feel that way; btw except all the Pakithew characters (and Courtney from season 2 to 5, especially season 5) I don't hate noone and I don't feel that most of them are hated (Zoey and Eva in particular), instead Rodney or Max should be in the list, nothing to like about them

Tbh, it genuinely hurts, that some people don't like Zoey, and that poor Ezekiel never had a chance.
Mal did not deserve to make this list at all, much less be at the top. That entire multiple personality arc is part of what made All-stars so great! He's not even a standalone character he's one of Mike's alternate personas, so of COURSE he's gonna be one-dimensional. You wanna talk about one-dimensional villains? You should have put Max from Pahkitew Island at the top of this list! I'm surprised he didn't even make this list at all. I can't think of anyone who actually likes that character.
I was also surprised that Max didn't make the cut. Because everything about him from being someone who likely watched the “Austin Powers trilogy” one too many times, to his ugly design, to his unpleasant voice, to his constant buffoonery, made me mute my tv every single time he was on screen, that I was so happy once he finally got the boot.
In my opinion, Dave is actually a waste of potential. His audition tape makes him looked like a normal germophobic guy. Yes just like you said he could be a blander version of Noah , or a combination of Harold and Noah, with the sarcastic attitude that thinks other people around him "weird" and a wild card that have special skills and strength. But no the writers made him look like a pathetic creepy simp that can't handle a rejection.

Frankly I liked Zoey. She was so sweet and likeable, albeit very gullible for most of revenge of the island. Courtney went from likeable to toxic brat.
I don't mind most of these characters. some of them I really like or are personal favorites. but I am surprised Beardo didn't make the list with the other early boot fodder characters. his sound effect gimmick was kinda annoying but his normal speaking voice I found was even more annoying.
