On the part 2 video of Salvation Army, you were looking at books.right before the Humpty Dumpty books you passed a Donna Parker Book called " Donna Parker Takes a Giant Step".That is the one I have been trying to find...I am not sure if you do this,I am new to your videos.I was wondering if the next time you happen to go there could you get for me .I will pay your price( lol, within reason).it is about 5:25 into the video.if not I understand..I was like that's the book!,so close yet so far..I like to pick out the things I know you are going to look at and buy.I have to say we have a good eye!.Thank you
Thank you for being gentle with the items and soft spoken. I’ve been looking for a thrift shopper who doesn’t treat items as garbage if they don’t suit her profit needs. Refreshing. Thanks again. I hit subscribe.
I found an old 1950's Golden Book dated 1958 with the name "Lester" handwritten inside the front cover. This was in the 80's & it has been a treasure to me.
Wow! What great stuff! I have been looking for vintage magazines. The TV guide looked older. I am re-doing my basement in 1970’s style. Love the owl wall art.
Awww-your little guy looked sleepy. So cute! That was a fun thrift along. Can’t wait to watch the haul video and see if I was right about what you got. (And I sure hope you got the pull doggie!) 😊
The little figurines are not Wades. I believe they were from the late 60's early 70's and there was every animal you would ever want. They always had like a mother, baby and father of each animal. If i remember correctly they were usually priced between .99 to $5. Most were on the lower end of that price range. Lots of people collected them.
Not these figures. The ones you're thinking of were the Wade's Whimsies that came in Red Rose Tea. These bone china figurines were popular in gift shops in the 70's and can still be found today in gift shops. Some came in little boxes like the ones in this video, some were actually glued to little squares of heavy card stock. There were hundreds of different ones to collect. I had some of them when I was in my teens and I still have a few of the little animals (and some of the whimsies) that I have displayed in cases on my living room walls.
While it may seem that the words ‘anyway’ and ‘anyways’ should share the same definition and meaning, they don’t. Typically, when the letter ‘s’ is added at the end of a word, it is meant to indicate there is more than one. This is not the case in the word ‘anyways’, as there can be no plural to an adverb. Hope you got the spotted deer and raccoon figurines! They are adorable. Your husband and boys are so sweet, love seeing them in your videos! Thanks for sharing! Your thrift stores have so many good items! I loved the old books and insulators (kind of expensive though). Looking forward to the haul video!
The pins look like ones that I got while working at Walmart a long time ago when a movie came put pins would be put in the break room to put on our smocks. I have a ton!
WoW, incredible price jump on the insulators. I haven't been to the SA in a while. It was too expensive for me...even the books have gone up. Nichol, did you know that with purchase you are allowed a *free* Bible? (even children's Bibles are included, well, they used to be) One of my son's favorite favorite Golden book was, "The Three Little Pigs." (He has three little boys now and Grammie is debating to give it to him...lol) I enjoyed your haul, wish I could go shopping but.....through your eyes will have to do for now. LOL 😊😊😊
I was wondering, what do people do with insulaters (hope I spelled it correctly), do they decorate with it? I live in Holland and have never seen them.
The Poky little puppy was my favorite book as a kid.
I love those books

That’s how we talk in Maine. We all have different accents and ways of saying things. 😊
@@NestingHaven the use of anyways is not an accent it is bad grammar. Love you videos anyway and I find them relaxing.
