How could anyone not love Sade. This is real music 🙌
You know, one of the things that todays artists do not “get” is the drama and pure emotion that can be delivered through the arrangement, more so than even the voice. Just take a moment and pay attention to what you feel when she is NOT singing and the music has paused-she takes the listener so many places emotionally through the creation of space and air. Yes, her voice is amazing, but she knows how to tease you to follow wherever she goes.
You are right indeed. She's obviously exceptional but she's alwaways worked with her band, which is the same since she's been around. And obviously they're as talented as she is!

I am a 53 year old southern white male who was raised on southern and classic rock, but Sade has always had a special place for me, and is one of the few vocalists that can pull tears from me with he voice....still today...
Sade is timeless...hypnotic voice, music, beauty 🤩 No Ordinary Love is epic 💕

Young man I got so excited when I saw the thumbnail. Sade’ is one of my ultimate favorites. I saw her once in concert. She performs live well also. She makes an album once every ten years. Keep them coming.

Man, I was in high school when this came out. I was instantly in love. She’s phenomenally beautiful, an incredible singer and her videos back then were on another level. Her entire catalog is worth listening AT LEAST TWICE.
No other female Artist could ever be on the Same level as Sade Adu also she is drop dead Gorgeous ❤️💯

Sade is like timeless. Her music and her look. If u didn't know her music u would not be able to place what Era she's from. Her makeup is timeless and flawless. Sade is a whole mood.
Sade Adu’s band Sade is just an incredibly well-oiled machine. Excellent co-songwriting partners as well. The bass lines are perfection. They’re great live too 👏🏼 “Hang On to Your Love”, “Keep Looking” & “Cherish the Day” are standout bass tracks. But honestly, there’s not a single track that I don’t love from any of her albums.
Her live version of "Like a Tattoo" is otherworldly.
Absolutely one of the greatest sensual and sultry voices of all time. I love how she connects jazz rock and samba beats. Her band is one of the best-they are perfect a perfect match with Sade. Love the latin/jazz beat in Sweetest Taboo. Great music to dance around with your girlfriend in the living room.

Oh, this is a jam! Singing along with every word. I love all these songs. But Is it a Crime has always felt like her showstopper to me.

No Ordinary Love is absolutely stunning, one of my favorites. And I LOOOOVE the music video, Sophie Muller is a terrific director, love her work.

No Ordinary Love has always been a favourite of mine. I have to agree that the mix of Sade’s smooth vocals with that bassline and guitar in the bridge are mesmerising. Great reaction to a criminally underrated artist.

In 2001 I saw Sade live and it was one of the best concerts I ever went to. You sit in your seat and she came out in a gorgeous beaded gown and bare feet. Then she sings and sounds so much better than on her albums. I got lulled in by her sultry voice and her band was phenomenal.
She is one of the best singers I have ever heard. So powerful and beautiful and mesmerizing. Timeless
It always excites me to watch someone discover “No Ordinary Love” for the first time. Such as extraordinary track.
It was years till I found out there was a video for “Is It A Crime” let alone tied to the “Sweetest Taboo” one, which got a ton of play on MTV back in the day. It wasn’t often that artists did videos connected to each other at that time. Sade was a bit ahead of the game there.

I was 12 when she came out and in love since ! Beautiful, smooth, elegant and smart !
It's 9 pm, still 30°C outside, perfect time for some Sade. Excellent song selection. Her seductive voice paired with tasteful instrumentation creates real magic. The production quality of her music is always impeccable.
I had a Sade greatest hits CD as a kid that I wore the hell out. Soundtrack of so many drives home with the fam. Memories.

Check out Sade’s song ‘Soldier of Love’. It’s a more recent song, but it’s a beautiful and dark production.
"Love Is Stronger Than Pride" is another gem. Very minimalistic instrumentally, but awesome.
"Bullet Proof Soul" is one of my favs, and has a sax in it, but I don't think there's a video for it unfortunately.

No ordinary love was used as the theme song for either fatal attraction or basic instinct. Both movies with Michael Douglas, Can't quite remember which Movie though.
Other than the Ordinary Love Video, I love one heard a couple years ago looking up her songs online BabyFather, and love her onstage Sweetest Taboo her dancing to that song think 2011. she's talented dancer as well as singer girl got it.

I have had an old best of sade cd for 20 years. And I love it. It is so calming and sensual , from beginning to end every song. I used to listen to it for hours on instant replay as I worked on my never ending remodeling rebuilding a 4 unit rental building I bought. This cd and these songs kept me from going mad sometimes. Also sweetest taboo came out when I was involved a women I worked with. In the 80s.

I love Sade. Out of these, to me No Ordinary Love is the showstopper (Sweetest Taboo close runner up). So mesmerisingly beautiful! The longer version of the song is even more satisfying. Amd the video is so damn perfect!

First heard Sade when the soap “Santa Barbara” played her track “hang on to your love” for Cruz/Eden. Found out who she was n have been listening ever since. It was said A Martinez who played Cruz hand picked the song.
