German Depeche Mode fans are on a whole other level. They go absolutely berzerk for them.
"Then again if ur not smiling when David's prancing around the stage, are u living life? I don't think so." 💯
Definitely! Love prancing! He does it the best!
If you ever get the chance to see Depeche Mode live.... DO IT! I've seen them twice and they put on a fantastic show.
Saw them 2 weeks ago, you're 💯 on the money.
Fantástico, en vivo son superiores al estudio pura pasión y talento.
I've seen DM live four times. Just amazing performers. Dave was born to perform and Martin is just heavenly.
I had my first Depeche mode concert live when I was 13 years old, in 1984.
In 1982 I got the "Speak and Spell" as a gift and was enchanted.
Live Act bevore DM was Matt Fretton (RIP).
I would have been screaming my heart out singing too
Excellent song and performance! Depeche Mode still plays to huge crowds in America, and particularly in Europe. Superb choice!
This is my favorite Depeche Mode song ever since it came out in 1990 and was certified gold in the U.S. and Germany. The song won BEST BRITISH SINGLE at the 1991 Brit Awards. What a live presentation and how about the crowd and enthusiasm of the fans. I think European fans really get into their music at live events. Also liked "Policy of Truth" and " World in My Eyes " by the group.
Ah bon. On est contents pour toi 😁
All their live performances are a celebration. They just are so great live. They turned synth music into a stadium filler. Everyone was a cynic and said it couldn’t be done. Their final gig of the Music For The Masses tour when they played the Pasadena Rose Bowl was the moment everyone went “oh! Ok then!” Lol. You can pick any era of a live show from them and it will give you life. But especially from 1987 onwards.
I’ve seen them live three times, including on this particular tour. Seeing them do this song live is as close to a religious experience I will ever have. I left the stadium with zero voice every time. Pure magic ❤️
My favorite bands ❤
They are one of my favourite bands. Love the live performance.
A PMD DM day is a great day!! Next live requests... In your room from the devotional tour or home from any tour!
Enjoy the silence is always one of the best parts of a DM concert. I hope you get to experience one. It's a religious experience in the best possible way.
"Ladies and gentlemen... boys and girls... Mister... Martin... L... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRE!"
🤣🤣🤣. Martin's smile is heartbreaking 🥰
Ah - incisive as always - what a banger!
They are outstanding, since my first concert back in 1986 i`m a huge fan of DM.
"Are you living life?" exactly my thought! I've been to hundreds of concerts, but DM will forever be my number one live performers
Almost 4 years ago in 2018 they arrived in Mexico and it was crazy, 2 nights and more than 120,000 people! . It was the first time I saw them live 👌🏽
Depeche Mode were always great live, I saw them back in the days.
A great song!!!
DM Forever! Imagine this LIVE!! I am thankful I did, it will stay with me forever !
Love them, love Dave, love Martin, they have an effect in me I can't explain... My dream is watching them live, I hope it isn't too late...
I saw them live, incl this song, in San Antonio in 2018. Music is still great. But Dave's dancing is somewhat ridiculous, lots of flailing arms.
@@redsmoker37 Lucky you! I love Dave whatever he does!! ❤️😉
I just love watching first reactions to them! You are so cute! I hope you'll do a lot more reactions. They have so many wonderful ones to enjoy! Thanks!
Thank you!
Oh man ! That guitar riff is everything .
The best song of all times !. Greatings from Argentina.
I was at the Leeds UK leg of this tour and this still brings shivers to the spine. It was absolutely amazing. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Great reaction,
You have an infectious and warm smile.
”In your room” is one of their more emotional songs/videos because everyone was convinced Dave Would die from a heroin overdose. Any video from the songs of faith and devotion tour is fantastic, personal favourite is ”Rush”. But if you dont mind some seventies kink ”warm leatherette” by the normal was the first single released on Mute that was considered the world largest independent record label (Depeche Mode, Erasure, Nick Cave etc) and is a Nice piece of history.
If you want to switch gears I would love to see you react to Nick Caves ”Into my arms”
Keep it going!
Thank you!! ❤️
@mister stubbs Didnt know Grace had made a version of it. Have to check that out. Fun fact if you didnt know that the Normal was Daniel Miller who was/is also the founder of Mute records.
Love your comment!
@@ninawildr4207 Thank you:)
It's my favorite album too. I can't imagine losing such a talent and nice person. I could watch him dance across the stage for hours on end!❤
Fantastic reaction. Violator was such a great album and DM out on a great show.
Thank you!
You have just got to do Strangelove, such an iconic DM song. You won't be disappointed.
I saw this live in 2018 in San Antonio.
I dont think I've seen a reaction to Strangelove yet 🤔. Fly on the Windscreen is another iconic song imo.
@@myragarcia9052 I vacillate back and forth between Music for the Masses and Black Celebration as far as DM's greatest album. Never can definitively decide that. Both are pretty amazing and both have a lot of DM's iconic tracks.
@@redsmoker37 totally agree!
And b'coz of that.. subscribed!
Thank you!
Excellent reaction Bryson, could not agree with you more, near the culmination of this wicked performance - the organized, drum driven chaos of stellar instrumentation and purely epic release of energy galvanizing the stage before flooding out and across the massive crowd; it was such an enjoyable and entrancing pleasurable assault on the senses. Cannot help but love Dave Gahan's lively, twirling and interactive presence, capturing the crowd with every vocal note and seemingly spontaneous energetic movements. I have been to four Depeche Mode concerts, was enthralled by each experience. Thank you for this video Bryson, greatly appreciated.
Wonderfully said! Thank you for watching!
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude My pleasure - always thankful for finding your channel, it is addictive - it is a very awesome addiction. Appreciate you!
You should definitely watch "Should be higher" from Berlin. So amazing, for me even better than the studio version ❤️ and also Freelove from "One night in Paris" 🤩
Love your Reactions! Not fake....
my favorite version of enjoy the silence live! 👌🏽🖤
I saw this concert and two of their last one, you would love a live concert there is absolutely nothing like it!!!
So amazing in concert.....
They were my favorite band of the '80s and still are to this day. We will never see a time again where bands performed like they did in the '80s. Also I just wanted to say that you have a beautiful smile 🙂💞💞
Thank you so much! ❤️
Glad to see younger people like yourself appreciate DM. ❤🖤
Thank you for watching! ❤️
During older concerts, when they played “A Question of Time” Dave used to spin much faster. There’s bound to be some live footage of it somewhere.
The Singles Tour 1998, first Song. MTV Live in Cologne (Germany).
I love Mugar Omni speaker. 50,000 watts make sound perfect. I have a pair of them awesome I don’t think they sell them anymore
I get emotional watching this performance. It was damn near a religious experience I had actually being there!
I was there too 🥳
Agreed. Been fortunate to see Depeche Mode a few times- it IS a spine-tingling, spiritual experience 🙌. I even get teary eyed thinking about how lucky we are to be alive to hear DM!
Do you feel you are a fan of Depeche Mode now after watching all these videos? Thank you for those and you comments!
Absolutely!
What a SONG!!! Transports me
My favorite live version of this song is probably the one from 2001, they change it for every tour. Nevertheless, thank you for your reaction.
Yeah, for some reason, this 2013 performance has become "the" performance that reactors most see. Devotional (1993) and Singles Tour (1998) are my personal favorites, great Martin guitar riffs in the middle. Love that he changes that riff/solo every tour.
@@condemned1982 Devotional FTW! No other version of the ETS compares to the sonic majesty of devotional version.
You should react to In your room from the Devotional tour, its a masterpiece 🖤
Awesome!
🤣🤣🤣yes daves a definite prancer! Loooooooved your reaction😍😍😍
Thank you!! 😊
He uses the same trick ballerinas use to keep from getting dizzy. You kind of focus on a single point and dona weird motion that keeps from messing with you. It takes a ton of practice.
Esse show deve ter sido alucinante pra quem estava lá.
Portugués?
Takk!
Great reaction!
Thanks!
Best performance
awesome performance ! Ich bin ein Berliner. Thanks for the reaction
Thanks for watching!
Dave's hot! I love watching them live because I know that during the concert he will invariably show off that torso!
In your room,...
Hey PMD i enjoy all your reaction video's i am a super huge fan of DM i recommend checking out " Behind The Wheel " from there 101 tour in 1988 or " I Feel You from there Devotional tour in 93 they were both amazing tours although all were amazing. Although in 93 there look and sound kind of changes it is awesome
Germany love
DM
Ahh I think the Paris version of this song is the best
do behind the wheel 101 :D !
❤❤❤❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑z
4 guys and a tape
For crowds sing along Robbie Williams live at Knebworth is good
My time
Check out Something a little harder too. Ministry. Burning Inside. Thx
The Smiths How soon is now
Am I the only one who thinks Dave seems a little... um... "smacky" in this?
Smack , drugs and synth pop...
Love this performance but I can't look at the contortionist backdrop. Sorry contortionist fans. I gotta close my eyes every time they come out at Cirque did Soleil. Just can't do it.
😂
