- Hello friends! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful season by slowing down and enjoying the reason for this season! I've decorated my living room using things from my childhood, and many things passed down from my parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
This video includes a very special and well-worn treasure I made from cardboard boxes almost ten years ago at the 07:47 point. It is a replica of my great grandfather's Victorian house here that my daddy grew up in, and the one from which all the architectural details we are restoring and installing in our house were saved from. I was raised Catholic and my step mom decorated my father's house just like this. Every inch of their house was magical

The music and the decor made me cry. I have some faded Shiny Brites from my childhood and had old bubble lites that got too hot. I have our old cardboard Woolworth nativity and chalk figures and animals too. So much going on this year that I didn't even get to use that stuff on the flocked 4ft. tree I put up in my bedroom. I'm going to have to revisit this video before Dec. of 2023 to give me the inspiration. Thank you for this. I can't believe the snow you get! Wish we could have some here on the SC coast.

Simply magical! My mom made several of the beaded and sequined ornaments back in the 60s and 70s! Sadly only a few survived and I treasure them. Thank you for sharing!

All the red's green's gold's vintage look 👌 it's perfect it takes me, to my childhood memories 😢 you are by far someone I admire and appreciate your zest for life you have deep roots and an old soul that knows how to enjoy life as it was back in time. Simply beautiful and oh so magical. So much of your decor reminded me of my childhood Christmases. We had a very similar little manger scene and I’m going to ask my mom if she might possibly still have it. I had forgotten all about it until I saw yours. So beautiful and calm Anita. Many things I remember from childhood, the lights and bubble lights and how hot they would get on the "real" tree - way before there was ever an artificial tree. You take such sweet care in the little details. You look so beautiful with your hair up wearing the white blouse...thank you for taking the time to share your Christmas with us. Just subscribed! My birthday was Dec. 9th and my friend took me to a High Tea at a local Victorian home, What a treat! Her home had 15 trees and every room was decorated beautifully The lady dressed up and had vintage hats for us to choose and wear for the tea. Such fun! So I was thrilled to see your lovely home and décor. A Queen Anne is my favorite home of all!

Have a question about the light with color cover have you came across them today except for LED I always love the old C7 lights .And I always use tinsel on my tree I will have to say not made like back in the day but makes tree so beautiful .Reminds me of the tree in the big window in the Christmas story movie or miracle on 34 street when they go to the Christmas party .Your home for Christmas beautiful and so many collection of past and memories .❤

Hello ,I think the tree is most beautiful . BUT THERE is a PROBLEM the tree stand is ELEVATED in the middle VERY BAD DESIGN , Check out the CHRISTOPHER RADKO STORY and see WHY. How the tree COLLAPSED because of a stand like the one you have . YOU should put a piece of wood to take up the gap in the middle of the stand
Thanks for your concern, but this tree is very stable and there’s no way it can collapse because the weight of the tree keeps the stand from folding in, which is the only thing I can think of that would be an issue🤔 I can literally stand on it, and it will not collapse☺️
