Will a ROTARY laser be able to show the level 180 or 360 degrees around? Sometimes the floor and tripod are not very level of a surface, which makes you need to level the tripod, lol, which makes using the laser interestingly harder. That means the pendulum needs to be able to free of tilting with the tool, and some do not have ball joint type tilts on a XY and will get stuck when panning the tripod head, this causing your level to be wrong the more you pan.
