great video looked a great place i have a small car and costs me anything up to 30 pounds to fill my local garage is cheaper then the supermarket nearby
I'm loving your videos. We've got a MAN 24-420 coach/motorhome conversion and was curious to see what your fuel costs are. I couldn't see the pence/litre price but calculated £1.357? We're paying the equivalent of £0.92/litre which is bad enough, especially when you have an 800 litre tank. What registration costs do you have for your beast? Here it varies from state to state. In Queensland it's £479 for a two axle and £920 for a three axle. Yet you can go to Victoria or South Australia and get your bus registered on historic rego for about £50. Easy to do; you just stay in a caravan park for two weeks which then qualifies you as a resident of that state. And, unlike in Queensland there are no annual inspections in Vic., SA or even WA. Because rego renewals are electronic you don't have to be in that state. A mate of mine visited Western Australia 5 years ago and got his motorhome registered there (cheaper). Hasn't been anywhere near there since yet still has WA number plates attached. Anyhoo, I'll continue watching your other videos; have a little binge session. Take care and best wishes from the Gold Coast Hinterland in Queensland, Australia.
Thank you for watching over the pond! In The UK our current bus is made in 1978 so is expent from tax or Mot as it is classed as historical. We do still have it checked over and any work done that is needed!.
@@six_inabus Well that makes it a lot easier to own a bus. In Australia there are two components-Registration and Third-Party Insurance. Some states have strict laws on driving historic vehicles, like only travelling to and from car shows. Other states allow you to drive anywhere for up to 90 days a year.
Very interesting read! Good to see that you're familiar with any loop holes that help drop the prices down a bit. Your wider roads in Australia must make the drive a dumb sight easier too.
@@davekennedy6315 I've driven a little Fiat motorhome in Germany/Austria/Switzerland etc but haven't been to the UK. But seeing videos showing your streets and roads, I really take my hat off to anybody trying to negotiate narrow British roads. Even your freeways seem narrow compared to ours. The variation in regulations and fees between our states make us the Usa-Ununited states of Australia! I think you're a bit more streamlined between England, Wales and Scotland.
I saw you there! I went there too! I thought the bus was really cool and I decided to look at your RUclips channel

Be good to get some solar to reduce your genny fuel bills
