Thank you - I tried everything at once then shut my computer down and turned it on. It’s an emotional moment - when you see the the WiFi sign back on:’)
For anyone reading the comments here's what you really do, do all the steps until the last step. Do the command, restart, then do shut down, wait litterally 5 minutes then power on. It should work. You're welcome.
Thank u so muchhhh! My husband is working from home and suddenly the wifi on his laptop went missing. I just follow these steps and it worked! Thank u so much!
The last suggestion helped me solve my problem. I was so frustrated for many days that I thought of buying a new laptop. Your video came to my rescue. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much brother, the second method worked like a charm after using the command and restarting it ....I felt like I've googled for ages and found nothing neither on Microsoft forums, and I found this video it worked like a charm. Thanks again man !
Unfortunately none of this worked for me, but it may be an incompatibility problem between the WWAN card I removed from my Dell computer and put in a Compaq computer with W's 10. The power light on the card never lights, though the card was working in the Dell, which had problem I couldn't solve, and which had Vista on it. I did get the hard drive from the Dell to work in the Compaq, so I was able to save much data. I see by the comments this video helped a lot of people. It was clear and easy to follow. Thanks for the effort!
The WiFi on my new Surface 7 stopped working about a month ago. I started walking through each of the methods and restarting the WWAN Autoconfig WORKED!! Thank you so much for the help!
Finally found the issue!!! All those method have been tried but no success, it might work for others but i found that you have to delete the intel wifi adapter driver manually from control panel>uninstall program>uninstall it. After that just restart your pc or laptop then you will see wifi indicator will appear. It is because the intel driver that you installed doesn't match with the window that you have installed, that is why window blocks the wifi indicator to show up, you can see after uninstalling the intel driver and restarting when you open device manager>network adapter there you see "Qualcomm QCA9565......wifi adapter" driver installed by windows itself which is for me working absolutely fine! In my case i have windows 10 pro 64bit installed in my dell "Latitude E5450 laptop"
No method worked for me, my wifi driver keeps uninstalling by itself , i need install driver every time (daily 2- or 3 times) and then only wifi and bluetooth works fine please help me to fix this
I have the same issue..I have tried all day long to solve it after watching many vids..my lenovo 3000n100 got intel 3945abg and I only came to know that this device no longer supported by windows 10.
none of them worked, the internet thing is not even showing, it only says ethernet cable unplugged, what can i do? does it have a problem inside the pc? is it possible?
Thank you so much. I did a complete Windows 10 Recovery and still nothing. Then I found your video. First method worked for me. Wow, 10 hours wasted for a 30 second fix. Thank you!
At least you had some different things to try other than the unclick allow on power management or shutting off computer and putting device in afterwards and believe me, I have tried everything except to install a clean windows install. Had to do that to mine when it started the usb thing, why in the heck does Microsoft have power management for usb, especially on a desktop or even a laptop. I tried all of these and also took the computer upstairs and hooked it directly to internet and installed updates, actually had a driver update for the wifi dongle. It worked before but all of a sudden it stopped. Two days now trying to resolve it without doing a full install. Ended up doing a start up repair and it went to not even starting up, and it reverted back to before I took it upstairs and hooked up to ethernet and download and installed all those updates. SO FRUSTRATING...thanks for some new and interesting things to try, at least you didn't have all the other ones. I even checked firewall and anything that might be blocking it.
Thank you so much for taking your time to prepare and make this video. Your first method worked immediately for me. Thank you once again for making my life alot easier.😁🙋♂️
It certainly worked for me. I got annoyed while restarting didnt work. But it only worked when I manually did shut down the laptop and then powered it on again. I tried all the 4 methods. After I shut the laptop down and the powered it on, the wifi signal automatically poped up. Thanks a lot.
If nothing works for you just go to you're *motherboards manufacturers website.* like mine was the asus z1450-delux and install the wireless drivers from there. Tip since you dont have wifi, use a cable or a usb drive and connect to your phone or another pc and install the drivers to there and then upload them to your pc
I had to shutdown and reboot. Simply restarting didn't work for me. The adapter then showed up and I updated the driver as he indicated and that worked.
I am able to say in word how you help me . You save my 5 months, I try all the method but not working just watch your video in last it's working, My all labs set-up my vm , my kubernetes labs , my Hadoop labs, goes down if I not showing your video that's why I say you save my 5 months because I decided to delete my window os 🙏🏻

I decided to give up and bought a wifi adapter for like $15 that works great! A little annoying that theres a usb with an antenna sticking out, this specific thing is so annoying i think it was worth it.. just wanted to comment if anyone else here hasnt found their fix yet, this is an option.

Buy a usb wierless adapter. They are much easier to use and are usual about 10$. They don't have so many problems as pci Adapters
