- I try my hand at making spicy pickled eggs using red jalapeños and Tapatio hot sauce. These eggs are keto friendly and oh so delicious! This is a great Mexican twist on the classic recipe of pickled eggs.
Ingredients:
2 dozen eggs
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 Jalapeños
2-5 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 cup hot sauce
1/2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp pickling spice

Was thinking about trying to make some picked eggs but like spicy stuff, your video came up 1st. Gonna try this. Thanks brother 🙏
You're welcome my man! Best of luck
How were they?
Looking forward to trying this, not sure I will get that brand of hot sauce here in Ireland, but I might try it with a little Tabasco or maybe Frank's. Also I did notice one thing, sharpen your knife! Can tell it's pretty dull.
Was looking to try some pickled eggs and wanted em spicy then found this video you did a great job with explaining how to do it and I can't wait to get started ty ty ty
Thank you!
Hi, I'm looking forward to trying this recipe, I've never done PICKLED EGGS before and your recipe looks great, cheers mate
I'm going to try this
Good luck!
Thank you. I am definetly going to use this recipe!
Great idea for snacks at work!
That's exactly what I used them for too!
The Brine should be heated thru to blend all the flavors then cooled before adding to eggs.
Make a video and show us ur then Karen!
@@misterclaus8391don’t be shitty, Archer.
@@misterclaus8391Karen is correct it’s just better if you want that flavor punch you are looking for
The issue with heating the brine is that heating peppers takes away the heat, so dont boil the peppers in the brine
Bet these are delicious!!!! Great video.
Thank you!
I'm trying this 👍
It's super good!
I want one of those jars you put the eggs in
My wife bought them at Walmart I believe
when the eggs are gone, can i continue using the mixture with new eggs, or do i have to make the mixture again?
I would probably make everything new
After a week do you drain the liquid out or do you store it in the mixture?
You can store it right in the liquid
After using the ratio of water to vinegar (white, apple cider, red wine...) almost everything else is discretionary. I try to watch my salt intake so I omit it. If you like onions, hot chili peppers, hot sauce throw them in! Take good notes so the next batch you can add or subtract whatever you like or dislike. Enjoy your eggs!
@@beerbrewer7372 great points!
distilled
@@scripteaze Huh?
@@beerbrewer7372 I was just adding distilled vinegar to your list. Not all vinegar is distilled and although you did mention "white" which is distilled many people might not know this.
@@scripteaze *Now* I understand. Thanks!
leave them in the fridge for 2 weeks or even on the counter or pantry. No need to keep them cool..When you buy pickles, are they in the frozen food section? No, they are on the shelf with a can of beans..lol
What molecule do you have tattooed on your arm?
@@bulkvanderhuge9006 Capsaicin. It's the chemical that makes peppers spicy
@@GroundedRoots I figured it had to be something like that, especially on a channel called "Turn up the heat"
Why didn’t you boil your brine and let it cool?
This is a reletively short term stored food that is kept in the fridge, so you probably don't need to boil it it keep your eggs from going bad. It certainly wouldn't hurt though
@@GroundedRoots You are boiling it so that your salts, sugars, etc. can break down into the liquid so it doesn't settle at the bottom of your brine.
@@GroundedRoots yeh you're just cooking the brine to incorporate the ingredients, you let it cool down before adding to the jar.
Instead of using Tapatio with Cayenne Pepper work just as well.
What the fuck are you saying that sentence made no sense
@@VIOLETSYSTMS Instead of using Tapatio will Cayenne Pepper work just as well? Yes. Anything you want to use, use it, garlic powder, franks red hot, Vienna sausages, onions, beets and the beet juice, etc.. even mustard and yes, people make mustard eggs all the time. just do what you want to do.
I like Franks Red Hot !
Franks is really good!
I put that shit on everything!
And Sriracha tbh
@@TomoMomoDomotapatio the goat

I can't stop laughing at your comment, LMAO!

Ну почему нет перевода на русский? Мне хочется познакомиться с вашим рецептом по ближе. Плохо что нет перевода🤔🤔😔
Очень жаль, что нет перевода на русский. Я думаю, что это проблема с RUclips
So make deviled eggs out of the pickled eggs, you will thank me.
