    Shawn, I've been fascinated by your mousetrap vids for a couple of years. This one surprised me!
    Thanksgiving morning I hand peeled 72 Costco quail eggs in a half hour, but the peeling machine looks like a "must have" tool. Stirring to center the yolks is a valuable trick too.
    I'd like to be known as the neighborhood pickled egg guy, and give out jars at Christmas time!
    🎄❤🎄❤🎄❤🎄❤🌞
    EDIT: Looks like I have some digging thru the archives to do.
    I'm 70 & just got my hunting license. Currently shotgun season, then a couple of weeks of muzzle loader!

    • @hamsterama
      @hamsterama 3 месяца назад +2

      I rechecked the video, and unfortunately, Shawn didn't say how long. I looked up how long pickled chicken eggs should sit in the brine, and it's about 5 days. So, I presume quail eggs would be at least the same. Or maybe less, because they're smaller than a chicken egg.

    Korean sauna eggs: cook them under pressure in an instant pot for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours. The whites turn increasing shade of tan with slight nutty flavor, the yolks become creamy. I'd think it degrades the nutritional content, but they are tasty and worth experiencing at least once.
