I love your videos because you always get to the point with no BS. I’m writing because I’d love to know how you attached and made your sign on the side of the trailer. I sell firewood and would love to make a similar sized sign on mine. Make a short video??
In Oregon, for example, you may insure your trailer; but according to my insurance guy, the trailer is covered by the pulling vehicle's insurance. So, it is not required to have extra.
Just registered to do business in your state and insurance of course. In my area no new bonds are sold to contractors on the residential side. Just fyi
What is the going rate, in your area, for parking your trailer at a construction site, they load it, then you provide the hauling service to the dump? I have a 14' dump. Just curious. ps..I saw the $499 quote below. What does the landfill charge?
In 1976, I asked a buddy of mine, who had just bought a 4WD Chevy, what he found to be the main difference between his old 2WD truck and the new 4WD truck out in our Mojave desert area. "Cub", as we called him said, That's easy. Four-wheel drive means you can get 6 miles farther out before you get stuck..... ha!!
I think I'm convinced. I'm gonna go pick up a brand new 7x14 Load Trail
Any dump trailer is better than no dump trailer!! You will love it
What’s the best way to market for getting the dump trailer jobs
Hello from Cleveland.
Love your videos! Keep up the good work.
Thanks Todd!!

My 16’ 16k sure trac gooseneck like your other one is the best business investment I’ve made in years
It’s crazy how having a dump trailer changes a contracting business
I bought my first dump trailer yesterday, can’t wait! How do you advertise other than the trailer sign? Facebook?thanks for the video
Congrats!!!
Use your local Facebook groups and post there. Also use the Nextdoor app and make posts in there. Both of these are free.
Love your rig man. Someday, someday.
Thanks man. Yeah I have to pinch myself every other day.
What type of insirance do u need for that trailer type ??? And what’s the cost
Ask your insurance provider for an inland marine policy

@fredla7353 it only covers while hooked to your vehicle. If you want to have full coverage, you'll need an inland marine policy
Very nice rig. From what I hear that F 450 is the way to go. Bigger brakes and easier turning. Am.
I correct?
Yes. Only thing you give up a a bit of payload due to the heavy duty axles on the F459 over F350
@RenovationsandRepair ya but a much more capable machine. Glad to hear you are from Michigan as well. Lifepractical is by Petoskey. Good day man.
Any ideas where to park a dump trailer if I don’t have room at my home?
I cannot park my dumps permanently at my house as well. I rent parking at storage areas
@@RenovationsandRepair gotcha thx!
Do you have to be licensed an bonded to do this?
Just registered to do business in your state and insurance of course. In my area no new bonds are sold to contractors on the residential side. Just fyi
Thoughts on Goose neck connection versus what you currently have?
For dump trailers 16ft and shorter I prefer bumper pull.
What type of material did you put your graphics on?
It’s a foam board from the print shop I use.
As far as the cdl goes, and being a business owner, you might have to get into other expenses like usdot, state dot, and ifta tags too
not just for having a cdl trailer, depends on the kind of loads you will be carrying.

What do you charge?
$499 per dump
@@RenovationsandRepairwow, how many can u do in 5 days ? Do you get a lot of work ?
@@RenovationsandRepair How much does the landfill cost?
Thanks man!
No need for DOT?
Yes your for hire
I pull a 14' dump 14K [10000lb payload/trailer weighs 4k]. No DOT required.
@@fredla7353 scab .lol
As long as the trailer is under 10,000lbs and truck and trailer is under 26,000lbs no cdl required.
I would buy a dump truck
2 wheel drive is for soccer moms.
