Spin cast will have you getting up to 10 more yards on a cast or more

Great video.. just wondering what happens to the soft plastics when they are lost in the lakes/ponds. I imagine there is a lot of rubbery plastic at the bottom of most lakes these days. Someone needs to develop something that helps to retrieve lost baits.. and lures too. Love the videos.. and fishing.. was just wondering about with the explosion of fishing lures and baits in the last 10 years.. that means a lot of trashed baits.. hopefully people are gathering them and disposing of them correctly.

In fact I see no reason for bait cast equipment in Bass fishing, period. I figure if salt water guys catch 100 lb Tarpon on spinning equipment with 4000 size reel, no problem, why is a baitcaster needed for a 10-15 lb Bass? Maybe a video about all the benefits of bait caster equipment.

It's not only that. I use 9' 8000 size spinning reel for 50-100lb rays all the time. Using baitbasters for freshwater is just better all around. No line twist and there is just more power techniques you can use on a baitcaster. They're lighter and smoother and more high end depending on what you get. Comparing tarpon to Shark to bass to catfish is just different techniques and better ways to catch fish overall.
