bro don't you need to have a two-fuel line going for the fuel pump?, i have only one fuel line like yours and i bought a white fuel pump and top line is leaking due to not having any hose connected. Do i need to block one of them so fuel wont leak ?
Different versions of the E36 will have different configurations of the fuel pump assembly, on my case one port is open and the other is closed from factory. I've seen other models that used both ports on the top.
Hello Brother~ Why didn't you take this opportunity to change the tea-bag looking filter? ..is that not an option? or is that NOT a filter? Great video, I hope I don't have to do this soon.. but if I do : Thanks!
You don't have to replace it unless it's falling apart because it's only a plastic mesh. It only stops solid debris from going in the pump. You can clean it from inside out and it will be good as new, just put it back again. The main thing is it being clean!👍🏻
Knocking up an old thread... just a quick 1, why is the other hose nozzle there if there's no hose supposed to go on it? The reason I am asking is that I have the white housing exactly the same look as this yellow 1 and mine also doesn't have a hose connected to that 1 outlet so over half tank it seems to be pushing fuel out of there... any advice there guys???
Hi! If I remember correctly on mine that isn't open all the way through. I believe they probably cast them all using the same template and only drill that nozzle for the applications that required that nozzle.
@@evosgarage cause if I don't block that outlet off after filling like half tank fuel it pushes back out there for some reason... not sure if there's a pipe supposed to be connected there leading from somewhere else

Hi! If you buy a fuel pump kit it comes with about 10/15cm of fuel resistant hose! If you just need the hose any car parts store will have or you can go on ebay and search for fuel resistant hose with about 7.5mm inner diameter. Hope this helps you.

o que acontece se meter uma bomba de um 325i num 316i? posso o fazer?
Sim Julio! Se for o mesmo chassis, ela encaixa la de certeza e o mais certo é a do 325i ter mais debito do que a do 316i. Abraço
