Hiya
This is from a recent track day in my Clio 172 with Open Track at Oulton Park
Car is 04 Clio 172
195hp
850kg
AST suspension
MRF ZTR tyres
If I had a pound for every E46 M3 that's held me up on track in my Clio I could afford an E46 M3.
I think I've heard at Top Gear or at Harry's garage, that on a curvy mountain road, the Clio Sport outperformed a Gallardo. For real. On the straights, of course you know the answer, but on a twisty road, Clio is GOD. M3 is nothing next to a Gallardo.
I absolutely feel this
Nice ! that's me in the 350z my first time at oulton but what a great track
retroal yeah I agree. I have limited experience at oulton but do love it
Goes well! I’ve just raced there and loved it.
M3 definitely should have let you through :(
Am booked onto this can't wait. I know the track quite well from project cars 2!
Nice driving, greetings from Project Cars 2 player.
Nice one, good graphics, i'm at Oulton in March, looking forward to it...
I think I’m their in March also all been well
French hot hatches really are the dogs bollocks.
Ah the familiar rattle of a PMS shifter
Great driving
Was that a Honda Civic that went flying over the kerb? Cracking last lap!
Great few laps, tidy lines through the corners and you're clearly confident with the car on the circuit. A few "hold ups" but then, that's track days for you! Please, please, please develop heel/toe....your braking phase will be so much more controlled.
Thanks for your comments. It was just a chilled out track day. Nothing to exciting.
This is when I’m pushing a little harder

Clio goes really well, 2:01 lap without traffic? ZTR's look mega! Just ordered a set myself. Any comparison v the AR1?
Hiya. Best I got down to in the end was 1:58.
I personally think the MRF is a better tyre however I’d say performance is similar but the MRF take a lap or 1 extra to get to temp but say in range for longer.
@@jamietonksracing7367 what they like in damp/light rain conditions? Can't be worse than the AR1s, they're shocking on mine.
@@MRS-2ZZ shite
@@jamietonksracing7367 🤣
LMAO - M3 Driver not wanting to be passed by a Clio. Pff.
What do you think of the Mrf ztr? Have you tried them against anything else? What cold and hot pressures do you run please?
Hi
Used a wide range of tyres over the years. The MRF’s are a great tyre for the money and well rated on the club endurance series over the uk.
Pressures. Cold depends on use but I try to run around 32psi hot
@@jamietonksracing7367 thanks for the reply, any difference in r888r in outright pace? 800kg car they are for. Thanks
Ways a bmw driver on the way
How did you get to 195 BHP? That at wheels yes?
Hiya no that was calculated at the fly.
EFI in Runcorn did the ecu but spec was standard engine but with 197 cams, group N timing, ported inlet manifold and throttle body, megane 225 injectors and exhaust system, I’d guess it was about 160bhp at the wheels
how good or different AST is against B14/ BC? is there LSD?
Martin Ecko I haven’t used either of the bilstein B14 or anything from BC to give much advice I’m afraid. With regards the diff yes MFactory
how do you find the mrf tyres any good ?
sidonio123 yeah really good tyre 👍👍👍
@@jamietonksracing7367 thank you
The map is not correct
