I was at the GWF too. I arrived about 1pm missing the queues and deliberately missing out on early drinking - I wanted to experience it but not overdo it. I would have came over and said hello if I had seen you . I did recognise a few people and said hello, had a small chat. A couple of drams I enjoyed were SMWS craigellachie 20y and an OB Annandale bourbon cask finish cask strength. I’ve also experienced something similar to yourself in the past , sometimes we are not always on form so to speak and that’s ok.
I was there from the start and it was BUSY (not really sure what I was expecting tbh) - missed out on the Ramsay stall, finally got to give the NE Wire Works a go, Rum Cask Ardmore from Fragrant Drops was a lovely one.
No weirder than I expected buddy 😉haha it was no bother mate, still a great chat meeting you. I know throughout I felt massive imposter syndrome! Enjoyed the Glencadam 15 as my first dram of the festival. Cheers to you and your new camera spider!
I appreciate age statements, but some of my favourite whiskies are 5 years old, so it's not that I need older whisky, but I do like to know. Just like I want to know colour, filtering, casks, and anything i can find out. Why? I like to nerd out on the informaiton. Also, I hope the spider has just passed on. Cheers!
