The suspended duck house under the coop is great use of space. The bloopers are perfection…. The continuous crows got me laughing so hard 😂❤
Love the coop! I also LOVE how we homesteaders announce that we have new chicks on the farm, like we are having a baby! LOL! My chicks will we going in the outside coop before long. :)

Love the separate-but-together coop idea. I'm sure your duckies will be very happy. We're trying SO hard to not get more chicks this year - I'm dreading our TSC run this weekend! LOL at giving the rooster the bird. That's me and my husband trying to enjoy the outdoors and have a convo 😆.
Going to TSC right now is a struggle hahaha the chickies are just SO cute.
I've never had chickens, but my thought is, wouldn't it be easier to take 2 of the roosters out than put saddles on the hens? Isn't there a ratio of roosters to hens? Hope it all works out for you.
We attempted to remove 2 roosters & they were still having feathers pulled out with only one. We found a new home for one of the roosters, and we recently got chicks to get our ratio fixed. We’re not interested in rehoming the second rooster at the moment, so we’re balancing the ratio out. All is well now that we’ve put saddles on them, though.
