Metal Detecting Nearly 200 Year Old Large Coin and She Finds Gold In Area Founded In the 1840s

In one small yard we found Rings, my oldest coin ever which was also on my Bucket List, The Matron Head Large Cent. Plus several other remnants from the 1800s. It was a coin, we really did not think we would find around here as it dates before there was much settlement in our area.. This hunt was incredible

Wow the town wasn’t settled til the 1890s right?

I believe we had people in the area in the 1830s but the town was not founded until the late 1840s
