Congrats. In one day you’ve dug up more stuff than those Oak Island treasure hunters have found in ten years!👍🏻
On the new episode of OAK Island Marty and Rick .find a stick in the swamp .😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😮😮😅😊😅😮😢🎉😂
Back in 73 when I had my paperroute I had a new customer addeed one day , little old lady paid me the first 2 weeks with a Standing Liberty Half & a Merc.
Pretty cool.
I had a paper route back in the 70s also. My one customer would always give silver for Christmas tips.
New York copper survived hundreds of years of plow blades, but couldn't survive Brad's shovel on a frost biting cold day!!! Awesome episode!!! Thanks!!!😊❤
Brad, if I had to guess, this was likely the site of an annual fair or festival. My dad and I found a "Harvest Home Festival" site in PA 45 years ago, and it produced like this site did, but probably three times the volume. We found others that produced as well. It makes sense that coinage was dropped as these festivals had lots of game booths and vendors. Great dig, keep it up!
Yes indeed, or a racetrack! People the world over have been having a little flutter on the ponies for a VERY long time!
When I was 5, now 71, I dug up a handful of standing liberty quarters next to my Grandfathers old grape arbor. he died in 1936 and all were dated prior to that date.
Did you keep them? I have the coins that were in my great grandmother's, dad's, and brothers pockets when they passed away. Sister stole everything in mom and dad's house when mom died.
Coffee and GMMD is the best way to start my morning.
I must say, one of the things I appreciate is when you show the item all clean and more identifiable...Could you please show more of that?
I was told that men working in the barns lost coins from their pockets, the coins became part of the muck and straw cleaned out of the barns that was then transferred to the fields. That might account for how so many coins wind up in a field - maybe there were a lot of workers losing coins in this farmer’s barn! What a great day - congrats!
Many old colonial homes had plank floors with cracks in between and mats on top. Coins would fall between the cracks and end up in the dirt below. We have a log home and our kids were always stuffing coins in the cracks in the logs. We still find them today 30 years later. There was once an 1836 church down the road that was dismantled years ago. One of the carpenters told me he gathered up a few handfuls of coins when the floorboards were torn up.
Been hunting NY FOR 22yrs still don’t HAVE ONE!!!! Congrats
My favorite US silver coin..the Standing Liberty quarter! Amazing finds fellas! Congratulations goes out to you all!
Shout out to your hunting friends for allowing you to bring us to their honey hole! My guess is the mystery item is an early, cheaper version of a watch fob just based on the shape of the hole, purely conjecture though.
A five year old does not think of such things as keepsakes. We were very poor and mother used the money for food. Just another God Sent blessing!!!
Always enjoy your videos Brad. That’s a great property and a couple of good friends for inviting to share it with you.
Friends in old places, doesn't get better than that! Great finds!
Brad I'm so happy you're back out in the field thank goodness awesome finds
Love your videos and your self composed music. Thanks for your hard work keeping us entertained.
Brad, you are just so blessed. It's amazing of all your finds 😊
Fantastic finds Brad! Thanks for bringing us along!
Wow that NY state copper is beautiful. Congrats. Nice hunt over all. Thanks for sharing.
What a great day you had! How fun and exciting! Love your videos ❤
Could of been a tavern. Nice finds Brad!
Maybe a spot where highwaymen divided up their booty? Isn’t it fun to speculate?
Love the real old stuff! Great finds 😊
Good friends and good finds. What a great day!
Wow!! How amazing to find so many coins and relics!!
In Brittain, when they have an archeology site covered in coins, they lable it a 'meeting' area. A Swap meet, or carnival, or Social Dance place or some other gathering where the coins would flow freely to buy food and drinks and games. Very cool day! baroom chuck.
Good people Brad….. 👌
Gotta say Brad I got spoiled with the grave of gold series Hope you and Eddie do another down the line
As in the past and enjoyable video with Phil and Tom, hope we continue to see them now and then.
It's always nice to find a Standing Liberty Quarter. In 1925 they changed the design of the quarter. The date of the quarter was recessed and was no longer one of the highest points on the coin causing the wear on the date just a few years after being in circulation. Anything before 1925 the date will most likely be worn off....and likewise anything dated 1925 through 1930 is more apt to still have its date. Nice video.
Congrats on a couple of bucket listers. Plus a whole bunch of coppers on the day
Great Job Brad
Possibly a Mercantile or some Type of Store. Or a Saloon maybe, due to all the Coins.
Great Finds!
Great Video and Shocked I really enjoyed the music around the 5:30 time stamp !!!
Great day for all of you!
I was wondering if they had a stockpile like you said but when the large cents etc went out of use they spread them in the field to help prevent slugs. I heard on Charlie’s Not Thursday once that copper Pennie’s were used around gardens for that. It’s a stretch but who knows.
You have either found someone's hoard that was plowed over again and again,a tavern,a bank or a brothel.could be all of the above. Best of luck safe travels. It's nice having great friends to invite you.when you conduct yourself and your affairs with integrity that's what happens. Now I feel bad I mentioned the brothel..lol GOD BLESS
Brad, awesome cinematography and editing. I love your videos. Keep knocking them off the bucket list!
Awesome video Brad. Congratulations to all three of you on your finds. Joyce/Connecticut 🇺🇸❤️🙏
So many artifacts, so awesome. You guys need do write a story about what was going on there . Maybe a big time chicken fight that went bad or something like that. 😂😂😂😂
What a day, Congrats on your first SLQ, and the New York state copper, but you can have that 🥶.
Great Day of Digging!!! Brad Thank you so very much for sharing it with us!!! I think it was a bank too!!! Money was way to valuable back then!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Or a tavern. Inebriated customers would be careless with their money!
Great finds in frozen solid ground! Well done Brad.
So much fun! Glad I was led to your channel. Nice to meet you!
Real nice SLQ & congrats on the NY copper. Lots of coppers. All 3 of you guys made a good haul. Coins & relics.
Good morning Brad and thumbs UP!!
It's nice to get the chance to get out during last weekend. 40s and ground not frozen. But this weekend, in the teens with ice and snow. Thanks, February. Great finds, guys.
I'm having coffee with Brad on Friday morning. Great hunt for a freezing morning. Some great finds and nice SLQ and New York copper. See you next time and try to stay warm.
Love the music, the scenery and the finds! 🥰💕❤️👍👍 Gentlemen, it’s been great entertainment with my coffee and toast. Thanks!
Top notch video! Great friends sharing the site no doubt.
That was fun to watch.
A standing liberty quarter was my first find ever with my first detector 30 yrs ago in my own back yard. love watching your digs.
Excellent hunt Brad. I found 3 SLQs in Ontario so far in 9 years detecting.
Great day digging with great friends!
You look just like the actor Zach Gilford. Great finds!
Wow, super, cool finds, the coins/mouth harp are really cool
Awesome friends in Phil and Tom, to think of inviting you to search with them rather than having it all for themselves top chaps they both are !!
My vote is for a Tavern site. Lots of coins, cuff buttons etc, sleigh bells, horse tack. Any sign that the plow picked up a bottle dump anywhere?
Very good, and some very nice coins. Just think of you guys going back in the spring when the ground isn't frozen and it's warmer. Great video
Wow, what a great site to detect! Love the editing changing Tom's coin from a quarter, to a half to a Morgan! HAHAHAHA! New York State Copper!!!!! WOOOOOOOW! Congrats Brad! So many amazing coins! Great video!
Thank you Brad and friends for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds especially the Standing Liberty Quarters !
Congrats on the bucket listers!
Love your content. Wish you wouldn't spray your coppers when they come out of the ground. I really think Aquachigger's on to something with his approach to cleaning coins. I've only had the opportunity to try his method twice, but I think the coins came out better than spraying them both times.
Very nice finds gentlemen!
Thanks guys
Always entertaining and educational! Thanks for bringing us along!
Brave men in the NE elements!🎉
I have been watching you for at least 4 years now .I ha enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much. 😅
Wow, just Wow!!! What great friends. How do repay such a fantastic favor?
The fact that we can even dig in February is mind boggling. It has been a bad winter for winter sports, but not too shabby for recovering history.
So nice of them to save it for you Brad! True friends.
Congratulations on your first SLQ
Man I wish I had Phil and Tom's skills. When it comes to researching old maps for awesome properties to detect on. Awesome hunt guys! You all killed it!
man, that is a great day of detecting dude!
What a great couple of friends to let you dig their property! And the selection is great!
Great saves !! Thats a lot of coins, wonderful day out !!
@💥💥💥💥 3:50 They found one in Jamestown, which pre-dates the Pilgrims. I found a whole one like yours in New Hampshire.
Wow, what a cool spot to find some of what just may be the field of dreams! I hope you're invited back! Keep on digging. ✌️ 😊
Awesome finds!
finding treasure is a joy but finding it with friends is better

1787 New York copper awesome it’s all awesome 👍👍👍
Wow, incredible finds! I am curious to see a follow-up on that holed pewter charm.
That place was Epic with one of the most amazing assortment of early coins I've ever seen! Gotta comment on the SLQ's- huge Congrats for nabbing your first one- I've been collecting them for over 50 years and to this day I feel they are the nicest coin the US ever minted (IMHO). Great work all!
Greetings from south Carolina 🎉
In the teens,...... me sitting in the truck hollering out the window, "Find anything?"
Great video brad
