Its hilarious how people think calisthenic athletes ONLY do bodyweight exercises like bruh 😂😂😂 how naive can you get. Theres a clip of him literally in the gym. You think the label "calisthenics" forbids them from lifting any weight/doing bodybuilding weight programs?

Seriously though, what is the last level of pike push-up format, that once you achieve you would progress to working on actual handstand push-ups? Say 20 reps of pike push-ups with elevated legs, 5x sets for example?
if you can hold a handstand against a wall and can do like 20 elevated pike pushups you could do a wall assisted handstand pushup

train your core and your finger strength. I found that helps with balance
@@DavFN123 I train my core,my problem is with finger balance,it's Asif there's a new pint of balance everytime I try to handstand,I grip the floor with my hand like a claw and press it when I'm falling forward it doesn't help all the time
Just keep practicing, maybe you dont have enough strength, maybe your body arent used to the movement or maybe youre not practicing enough. You will eventually achieve it.

It helps for sure. But you neglect your core doing so. Your main objective should always be to do them without assistance

I gave myself 60 days to learn the handstand push up ( I couldn't even do a normal handstand when I started this ). I have around 19 days left 💪🏼
What's good Angelo! Although it is very good to give yourself a goal, I believe you should enjoy the process instead of trying to achieve it in a certain time limit. A time limit adds unnecessary pressure to your training and can put you on tilt if you aren't performing up to what you expect yourself to do.

I completely understand bro, I gave myself that goal because I know it's achievable but will be hard. My weighted dip is very strong as well as elevated pike push ups, just mastering the balance now 🙏🏼
give yourself more time, otherwise you might be frustrated and/or overtrain
@@YRO. I almost have it bro, I have a schedule that I use for my handstand practice to ensure I don't over train. I will release a video after the 60 days when I can do them : )

@@fsfs2778 No. Calisthenics can be as effective if done right and you don't want to be a body builder. Calisthenics is more fun as well

i can barely shoulder press 15kg no where close to a handstand pushup 😭
Start with piked push ups and work your way up slowly.
Get good at pike push ups then elevated pike push ups. Also practice holding the handstand against the wall for time as you build overhead strength, so you get comfortable being upside down and holding your bodyweight on your hands
@@Caliversity will try, although i have belly fat with bad mobility so i can't do piked pushups without garbage form

@@FullAltOsu Focus on losing the weight + getting stronger with pike push ups. I was also fat when I started calisthenics. Don't give up 💪🏼
