Dang video quality is top notch. New camera?
Thanks for sharing, Dan! Love the new video "dynamic" - camera person, background, quick edits - very cinematic!
Thanks Bud, we have a few more coming
btw, on the Motech keypad, there's a button for "drink" - what does that do? Thanks again!
Such a satisfying video, I'd spend hours just appreciating the details all over, which makes it a w.o.a👌 Baby blue next defo.
That suppressed excitement/smile when the @radindustris parts are pointed out 😂🤟🏼😎
The Cody Phillips Racing Carbon Dash though 🤤😍
Love the video and quality is top notch 👌
Currently building my own supra for drifting. So this video is the best motivation thanks
Nice dude, can’t wait to see it
I have to say you're really good at describing things in detail. This is my first time watching anything of yours and I'm a fan. I first heard about you through Adam LZ. The way you break down your car you make it sound, in part, easy to replicate. I used to want to compete in FD but I'd like to finish my system first. I used to want to go into rallycross and drifting until I lost my sight. Now I'm working on a fancy system to not just allow a blind person to drive, but do so at a greater capacity than 2 miles per hour in an empty parking lot. I used to drive like I meant it and have no intention of settling for anything less. And videos like this make you really relateable. I may be coming back for questions on my next build once money comes in. I guess I just want to say I'm a fan. I hope this comment doesn't get lost in the sea and if it does stay awesome.
Thanks dude, I hope you do build something and get out in the track soon
@@RADIndustries Thanks dude. That's the plan. Currently have my heart set on an E36 cause I don't have a ton of money and need something tossable. I'm also hype that you replied. I'm used to people either blowing me off or not taking me seriously. That's why it's just me and two of my friends. People see a blind person trying to drive and immediately say I shouldn't. But I got this. Or it'll get me. But either way I won't stop trying.
This is it Dan! This is the formula. Great job Dude. More of these and then go win an FD championship with that new camber setup!!
Best video you've put out yet! Thanks for the overview.
I love how he still has the stock wing!
I love this video man thank you for taking the time to go into that much detail about your baby. Such an awesome and clean build . Can’t wait to see you kill it this season ( whenever it starts) good luck Dan
Thanks my man
Best FD driver RUclips channel fo sho.
Thanks Bud, trying to keep up
This car is so wicked and makes all types of rad noises🔥🔥🔥. Pretty tight and modern 👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks dude
Thank you so much for sharing this . You guys did such an amazing job on this car. The attention to detail and the amount of work you guys did is unbelievable and completely amazing. I cant wait to see you guys when FD starts back up again. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
We are glad you enjoyed it man, we also can’t wait for FD to start up again soon.
The car is It's looking phenomenal And the makeover to your shop crazy banana
Quality is top notch! awesome setup!
Man I see your supras almost everyday that I go pick up my mom from work ! I’m usually in my black e60 m5 and catch you driving the Prius lol great content Dan
Rad Dan, you're awesome. I love this content and I wish more drivers would put more medial like this out. However, i want to make a suggestion that I hope may be useful in gaining more subscribers/reach a wider audience.
You obviously love Big Blue, you're building custom parts for it, and you can rattle off full part numbers on it of the top of your head, but it your presentation and tone when on the camera is a bit monotone or . You might say, "I'm speaking the way I speak; this is just my normal voice." But I think it would add a little more to your videos if there was a tone change toward being a tad more animated. Also, I wanted to mention the lighting was off. Your car is a dark color, you seem to be in a shop with only half the lights on , and everything you're showing us is painted black. I would suggest brightening things up with a light or two.
Thanks for all the opinion dude.
I really enjoyed this filming! Maybe do some of your track days like this?? May day info and interviews etc etc when your not vlogging??? 😍
I will when I can, it just takes an extra person each time
Loved the in depth look! Please do a video like this for Baby Blue!
We can do BabyBlue soon
Sick dan really good build
Awesome video super quality!
Woooo!! Supra!!!! Cant wait to see you kick ass this season Dan! What fuel pumps are you running in the FCST? Pair of Walbro 274?
Yep I have 274s in there
Would love to see a blue strip on one of the white spokes on the new rims, would pop even more again 👌👌👌 beautiful car!
This built is so beautiful bro! Keep working 👍
Love all the fab work and that 2jz
Shop looks great, car looks great. looks very professional
16:35 when someone asks how you choose car parts😅
Is that a supra! Totally killed it!! Ready to send it!!!
good works g
Great stuff, really entertaining! One thing to ask if you don't mind - why not running VVTi head? Don't you think it will be better for drifitng? Thanks
Great video, thanks for sharing. Really interested as to why you don't run the rear Wisefab kit on the Supra?
Formuladrift doesn’t allow it, otherwise I would. Wisefab has changed the rear upper arm a little to much for FD to allow me to run it
@@RADIndustries why wisefab doesn't develop fd legal rear end for a80 then?
@@ardijanuar2036 I think unfortunately the A80 Supra is not a popular enough platform for them to bother. Much like the Lexus SC/Toyota Soarer which Wisefab initially said in 2012 that it was going to make the same kit for but never did (the only difference is that the rear lower control arm is longer)
Business in the front, coolness in the back
yea.. on baby blue too !!
Ok cool, soon
Nice video!
You should do a build break down on all your car
Hey rad Dan. Nice video bro. Love the details. Do you have a bleed system on the motor to get any air pockets out of the motor? I know the rads in the back but is there a bleed port in the front or is it not needed
Have you had any issues running solid mounts on engine, trans subframe? As in from constant abuse and also from a crash point of view? Being solid wouldn't be much room for error in a crash or wouldn't absorb mechanical shock loads from drifting
I haven’t had any issues from have solid subframe and diff and motor mounts, the trans has rubber bushings on the mount still. If you had a bad crash that bent the car then yes this would be an issue. So far I’m happy with how the majority solid mounts feel
You're the best #RADGEN Make 2020 Rad Again
What radiator hose size are you running on that car? 16 or 20An?
I would love too see a video like this on Baby Blue when you have the time as I know that’s more of a street version of your pro car 🤙🏻
We will do a video with BabyBlue soon
RAD Industries Awesome!!! Love seeing all the builds you guys do, as it’s all perfection!!! 👌🏻
Dan if your allowed can you do an update on fd and this years season...
When I have more details I will
What was going on with the fuel lines under the car? Is that two fuel filters?
Great video! What are your thoughts on accusumps? Have you ever run one or is there some magic with the JZ that it doesn’t have oil starvation issues?
It's not an RB, so it doesn't have oil issues period ;)
Hey Dan Was wondering if you run higher then usual coolant pressure ? Or what kind of radiator cap pressure your running? . To my understanding For every 1 psi increase on cap pressure it raises the boiling point 3 degrees F. In turn compressing the micro air pockets that are formed in the water jacket around the cylinder head and bores that get the most heat affected from high cylinder pressure at high RPM. I remember you talking about your cooling system a few months ago. Are you running a multi pass radiator to slow down the coolant flow or running the electric water pump slower so it has enough time to cool?
Could you do a video about the differences of a GE to a GTE. I got a 2JZ GE VVTi for a steal and trying to figure out what needs to be done to get to 500-600bhp reliably. Like do I need the holes for oil squirters, open up plugs for oil or water feed and stuff. In my eyes you're the go to JZ Jesus so if anyone knows this stuff than probably you. Good video btw. As always.
I could do a video about the difference between the GTE and GE one day.
What type of ignition coils do you use and why? Why not audi r8 coils or similar to avoid long ignition cables? Thanks :)
I run IGN1A coil packs, they are super strong coils and I have had zero issues ever. The Audi coils won’t fit under the OEM plastic cover so a can’t run those
wicked vid mate whats your front wheel size/offset and tyre size
What size fuel lines are you running, supply and return? How do you like those Megan racing lower control arms?
What brake set up are you using ?
Wilwood brakes
I thought someone talked you in to taking the front sway bar off..
I will sometimes, this is a new one that’s way less resistance. But some tracks I’ll have it off
Hey dan, I’m thinking of tossing a non vvti turbo’d ge in my 4th gen firebird drift car. I know the stock gte ecu’s are pretty good, would I be able to make around 500 or so with the gte ecu running a bare bones engine/chassis harness? Or should I go standalone?
Great tech video
I remember in a old video you said wisefab was not allowed in the rear of a supra in fd? Why was this rule inforced?
It sounds like a stupid question but why did you choose a supra it's a heavy chassis for fd also is there any plans to get this into the forza series as alot of fd cars are coming into that game
what hand brake are you using? I didn't catch is when you said it
Have you ever thought about using anti-lag?
5 or 6 speed sequential? and why don't you run DBW throttle and dry sump? dual caliper or single?
Do you guys sell that coilover coller anywhere
Would a 2jz gte with stock internals be reliable for 600 hp drift car?
Huh come you guys don't run a vvti 2j?
We will soon, just had more non VVTI motors. So we are using them
Megan racing sheeeesh
Hey Dan i was wondering what body kit you run, front and rear bumper, front fenders and rear quarter panels you run and also the side skirts
Spyke11906 plays its called the Weapon Wide Bodykit which is everything you see on his car. You can purchase it through him only.
@@kevinkwon4087 ok thx for telling me
Nice Supra.
What brand are using for pdm?
No dry sump this year?
1000hp too much for stock rear diff?
Good Luck.
Winters quick change did you even watch the video?
Winters 10” quick change diff is far from stock.
Is the quick change differential a LSD or is it a spool?
It’s a spool now for 2020 previous years we’re LSD. I’d recommend you watch his recent test day video, good fun!
Is it true that Renee builds the cars while you and Joe work on mullet and beard grooming?
Yes it’s true
WAT FANS U RUNNING
Sexiest car in FD. Party in the back rad Dan
So happy your using white wheels. Black wheels suck..
also if I won the lottery I’d pay you any money to build me one of these.
1600 -2000 for that diff ,,Lourdes all mighty its like 25 000 in the back that’s top secret stuff lol
Flight in a few years if not now , with a few more electric parts and some pop up wings lol congrats
2jz + mullet = 2000hp ++
Lol 😂
You need a haircut bro!
This is my cut bro
