Was that time a surprise for you?! When I edited and saw the time I thought it wasn't too bad compared to the standard time! (May need to go fit a new clutch now though 😂...)
I think that’s a good improvement. I suspect the “official” figure published by Land Rover was achieved by a test driver driving in brutal style that would have most Defender owners wincing, and is a figure most owners wouldn’t get near.
Yea Iv been out in that test car also after having my Landy stage 2 and wow it goes like something else, I’m keen on getting the fox shocks and performance anti roll bar because I was really surprised how well it stuck to the road specially round the roundabouts!!
ive got the stage two done on mine with the predator map from Alive. If i want to pull away quickly, i start in 2nd gear give it the beans and with a little slip of the clutch I'm spinning the front wheels and off down the road. 0-60 is much quicker than if i start in 1st gear. Does anyone else do this?
Yes, I think 1st is too low to use for normal driving, pulling away on level ground without a trailer. I always start in 2nd now and avoid having to upshift at around 10mph. This definitely improves the 0-60 time.

Thansk MF- I was a bit scared of doing more in case I went through my clutch!
What dash is that ?? The speedo is that standard or a aftermarket piece ?
Hey- it is completely standard I believe - the TD5 interior
Cool video
They’re definitely quicker
I surprise a few at the lights since my st 2 😂
😂 it feels quicker than the numbers say too with the rattles and wind noise!
Cool vlog Doc but when are you going to square away your interior?
It’s on the list of things that need doing! In the next few months I’m taking another look at it all
That's a decent time, I need to see what mine will do with just a remap!
Thanks- It felt about 100mph but was quite pleased with the difference!
Are you going to get alive’s new turbo?
Not sure yet- I did go out to in their test car that was running it and it does go well!

Agree- the ride quality is so good in it isn’t it! I definitely need to look at that next
Not bad for the amount of extra weight ur carrying with the sound deadening etc
I’m trying my hardest to shift the lockdown weight too mate 😂
@@thedoctorsgarage 🤣 winter is coming keep the extra "insulation" a few more months 🤣
That's a great time, definitely don't think I could match that in my 110 😂😂
It doesn’t feel very safe doing a 0-60 in a defender 😂
@@thedoctorsgarage 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Probably how the first astronauts felt going to space
@@Ciaransadventures exactly that! 🚀

Thanks Benn- that does sound like it would be fast but I’m a bit scared to do that in case I go straight through my clutch 😂

That's good that I'd say 0-60 👍
