Beat this guy first try. I definitely struggled a lot more with all the other bosses. In a way its disappointing because I found it too easy but at the same time I struggled alot to finally get to him.
On my first attempt against this boss, I had the pylon driver, so I had no idea what I needed to be doing. Late in the fight I randomly hit one of the globes and finally figured it out, but died. Housemarque certainly has a way of intimidating and overloading you with visual patterns, but once you figure out how to beat the boss, it's frankly pretty easy - as long as you have a decent weapon dealing damage fast enough to avoid the more massive attacks that start when you take too long.
I had a hallowseeker that was putting up laser turrets. I had less struggle with this guy than the first boss lol I had 3 healing items left when I finished
Thanks for the help! I got down to the third tier and only a small portion of health left for this boss and after what felt like two minutes of shooting the blue orbs and the middle of the boss it’s health didn’t move a sliver. Finally paused it and first video I found, skipped towards the end and saw you shooting the red eye things. Got back in the game and realized I missed one on the bottom right corner. Shot it and immediately beat it lol
Loved all your guides on this fantastic game. All the bosses for me were easier than the toughest mobs in those rounds. Beat Ophion within 3minutez with a level beefed up 30 carbine. Fantastic game. Love your content. Keep it up
You have a malfunction that does damage on overload. You overload (active reload) multiple times throughout this fight, why are you not suffering damage from the malfunction?
Your weapon proficiency aka the number in the bottom left is the lowest level upcoming weapons can drop at. weapon proficiency on an actual weapon corresponds to its overall stat level with each stat point being allocated to one stat of the weapon.

idk if there were any patches, but I killed that guy in 3 mins just with electric gun, barely lost any health, he melts

I had to deal with a very difficult mini boss that put malfunctions on ke right before this fight and i was on the road of no return already.
Damn. Make it look sooo easy. I’m a go for it again soon. This game is just awesome

Hey Emeka! Weapon proficiency level unlocks better weapons with better stats, the higher the weapon level, the better it (almost always) is :)
