Great content, Corey! Very good combination of information, skating, and product review. Love the skating soundtrack, especially the first song. Thanks for all your efforts with the channel - your a helpful resource and an inspiration to me and everyone else who is getting back into inline. Keep it up!!!
I just bought the aeon team xxi skates came with them liners. Hurts really bad so tight. Hard to even get the skates on. Do you think the rein v3 will help get you more room?
Hey Corey. I ve got aeon 80 i ve got some trouble like you in this video with 2nd skin. My size aeon 43/44. Do you thing that reign v3 would be good for this Shell? It May be to large? Sorry for my English language
Same issue. Squeezing in a tennis ball into the toe box as we speak. Tried both basic and 2nd skin liners. Same issue. So it's the shell issue that fits our type of toes
I bought some new Aeons today. My toes are getting numb after a while.(toes are not touching the shell !) Skinnyboys do have a small toebox. Could this numbness problem be solved with buying a 2nd Skin liner ?
I took liners from Valo and put it into “I fish NY” 😊. Now I have „ Valeons” Perfect fit and that surprise for someone trying to read what the heck I skate😂 I tried baking these original pro second skin liners but I felt pain at ankles anyway. For some time they were perfect at the beginning, just until they suddenly became trash. Other than that no any problems at all. Everyone has very different problems with particular liners. No rules here.
Okay so swapped out my USD Aeon basics liner into my Next boot and it fits so freaking perfect. Used my Next myfit Recall liner on my Zoom Lomax , and using the Lomax liner on the Aeon ⚡️⚡️⚡️💯💯💯 swapping out liners is awesome! Also just order the New Intuition V3 10-10.5 should arrive today or tomorrow LBC562 ✌🏼
Most of the myfit liners have terrible heel lift. You can use shoe goo or even double stick tape on the back heel as a quick fix. And under the foot while you’re at it.
Do you think your opinion applies for Urban skates too? I tried getting a skate that's exactly my foot size, but the liner's really tight. I can tell that getting a thin liner would solve the issue! So I'm looking around for thin liners... These two being on the top of my list.
im the same size foot as you (268) and i have aeon 80s in the 8-9 shell and theyre perfect with second skins. was thinking about getting aeon basic shells and liners as a cheap option since i alreayd have 60mm wheels and bearings. did the skate feel too small with the aeon basic liner once you skated in them? (even my second skins felt tight as hell when i first put them on, didnt think the 8-9s were gonna work until i rolled around in the house for a minute)
@@coreyenglish8706 i get alot of pressure in the standard liners in the sway 57. But nobody really have any liners in stock in Australia. Im on a waiting list
My foot is 257mm and I originally ordered the Aeon 6-7 (US 7-7.5, EU 39-40) and they were way too tight. I guess I could’ve got a second skin liner, but The skates looked goofy on me they were so small. I sent them back and got the Aeon 7.5-8 (US 8-9, EU 41-42) and they fit pretty well! I think the stock liner is ok, but the sides of my toes and edge of my foot feel a little cramped after a bit. Would you recommend the Reigns or do you think the basic liner will soften up/mold to my foot after a bit? It’s not totally uncomfortable, but coming from my old cushy Psirus skates they feel less comfy.
Down-on-Luck 59 hard to say how much the basic liners will break in. The reigns would definitely buy you extra room all the way around the shell. Highly recommend that liner. They do feel stiff for the first 30 minutes or so, but after that they feel nice.
I could see the issue with the myfit toe. But I havent had that. And I actually like the feeling. But I push with my heel more than my toes. I will say I prefer my myfits over the reign v1 I have and the current shima liner (Its a v3 in my opinion.) I also agree with your opinion on reign running big.
My fit definitely puts out a great product. That’s why the toe box bothers me so much. Happy to hear it’s not such an issue for others. As for the shima liner. I was sad to see that they didn’t include the most functional piece of tech from the v3. The leather heel that basically eliminates all heel lift. Looks like they left it off of the new loca as well.
@@coreyenglish8706 I guess if it helps separate the liners apart as the true reign. I havent had lift issues with mine, but I wouldn't say they are broken in yet. Only +/- 3 hours so far.

I learnt a lot about the second skin liners from this video. Thanks!!
Ordered some Reign V3 HT from Oak City this morning. Stoked to try it out.
Have any feedback about them?

100% yes, Them liners are puffy and tight. Reign or 2nd Skin would be much better if your feet are hurting.

the only issue that I have with the aeons is that they're tight in the toe box up and down. the length is fine, no issue there. What do you reccomend?
What did you go with im dealing with the same
Need help aswell, i got the same issue...

I have the Team XXI which come with the Skinny boy liner. Confort wise it's nice but I experience some heel lift and when tighting up I got numbness.

Did you found a solution for the numbness ? I have the exact same problem and i hope the 2nd Skin will solve it..
At first I thought the 'Stella! I blame you Stella' was part of the music track and I was like 'hey this is a cool song' haha

Pantagonia bag man you be ballin like a fooll , btw you are crazy on thosr skate bro !
Reign v3 tongues seem stiff to me compared to the stock liners, like my foot is getting straightened. Is that normal? Will they bend/mold to my ankle?
Are these the same liners you use in the sway 57. I have to skate with no insoles in the liners
No. I used my intuitions in the sways.

I need a slight larger liner . 6.5 currently in my aeons runs my toes ..

Corey English nice! Thanks for the advice!
Down-on-Luck 59 the reigns also run about a half size big.
Corey English also good to know! I’ll order an 8 then 👍. Thanks
Great tricks, fun editing, insightful feedback.
9.5 shoe would mean a 265mm foot?
Yeah. I’m 268/9.5ish.
The balls of my feet and toes still go numb six months in. Would you know why ?
Hard to say for sure. Which liners are you using? It would probably help to open up the toe box as much as you can to relieve some pressure.

I prefer my Aeon 80s with Reign Liners too. I have the v2 liners though not the v3.
I hated the stock liner in the aeons themselves, but love it in a pair of m12s and carbon valos
I did the opposite, I put Valo m 12 liners into Aeons.
