@@LindyKnight they aren't cutting fat, they're dehydrating, you can't lose that much fat weight over night. Try controlling your eating. Too many carbs are bad. Eat high fat meat, bacon, eggs. Everything from beer, bread, pasta, fruit, high carb vegetables all make you gain weight from the carb/sugar content and lack of absorbable nutrients. Beef is extremely nutritious and your body absorbs 100% of it and as a result you lose weight and correct your hormone levels. If you think it's a good idea to eat lettuce then compare it's nutrition to something like beef. Lettuce is for rabbits not humans. And avoiding fench fries and anything cooked in poisonous vegetable oil, at all times, should be obvious. If it's not then don't expect to lose anything except for years off your life. Any diseases or cholesterol issues associated with fat and animal products are a total myth and lack substantial evidence to this day.
It shows you how much mental is involved in this. Alex could weigh 225 and fight at heavy weight

It is brutal he walks around at 230. He was 203 at the pre fight press conference. His kidneys must hate him and your ability to take a clean punch is not as good. He was out on his feet at the end of the 1st round when he won the belt. 5 more seconds in that round and he's knocked out cold just like he was last night.

For one of his non title fights in the UFC his in cage weight was released as 219 pounds. He also not only didn't take 1 pound allowance but weighed in at 184. When Romero and Costa fought Romero rehydrated to 207 and Costa 214. When he started training camp for the first Israel fight he took a picture next to Dominick Reyes and weighing 232 he was the bigger man. His kidneys must hate him. He should consider a move to 205 because these drastic weight cuts hurt your ability to take a punch. Don't forget he was out on his feet at the end of the 1st round in the 1st MMA match.

I just think that the intense weight cutting in general has an adverse effect on the fighters and therefore also the sport.

@@Brett_Bond That's not easily cutting the weight. He's actually dying to make it. Using Paddy's fat, out of shape weight is a terrible example. Paddy in actual fight shape is about 170. Alex by his own account walks at 230.
