I need someone to explain to me how LG mobile, when it didn't exist, I was able to provide Android 13 for three different devices, well Microsoft can't provide it to a device that cost $1,600 and came out over a year after the v60 and the velvet.
Microsoft, maybe the biggest software company in the world, cannot make one usedable version of Android 13 for a $1,600 phone that came out in October of 2021?
I don't even own the Duo 2 but that is ridiculous enough for me too never buy an expensive piece of hardware from Microsoft
Because their companies that care and companies that don't care about there users. They only want you to keep buying newer phones and spend all your money
LG was such an underrated mobile brand. Their problem was, they didn’t push their phones enough. It was like a side note for them.

Wing and V60 have one of the best if not the best selfie cameras. They are just tunned for the person's face, not on the HDR for the sky. No other selfie can show the face of the person better than lg ones.

Sadly even with Android 13 they did not improve the AF on the main back cam. It always shifts focus to the back instead of my face when trying to vlog. Yeah I can fix the focus but how many times I forgot about it :P
Anyway. Android 13 now arrived on my device aswell here in Europe.

Yeah I have a wing and a v60 but every time I see the velvet on sale for like a hundred bucks on eBay -- especially if it's that beautiful silver or red or green one, I'm tempted to buy it anyway. The only thing that stops me is it feels a little redundant to LG wing, but obviously it's got a more beautiful design. But the same basic chipset, very similar display, curves etc...
But if someone's looking for $100 or less phone to use with a headphone jack, the LG Velvet isn't a terrible option. One of the prettiest phones ever made

See no reason why the AT&T variant won't get it I know there was some doubt but it ended up getting the v60 update.
Although i haven't actually done it yet since my SIM card is in a pixel.

Well I'm glad that they didn't change anything to me it looks perfect the way it is the moment that I get it out of the box the way that the apps look the way that the set settings are set up it's just perfect and I don't want them to change it
Well, for me, who's been looking for saturation, to Android phone, it's great that LG Wing provides that option and that's just one of them I'm so happy they have it it's absolutely awesome.
That's just one of the ways of the setups that I like about it the app designs look perfect they look different in their own unique way the way that the designs of the setup and settings and things like that it just looks so perfect.

@@TheTechPreacher See my issues with having update is the facts of the changes to the Aesthetics in the looks or looks of the app on notification or icon or even the settings. should never have been changed and to me you should have an option to go back to the old settings or changes go back to the previous update if you don't like the new update
but apparently you can't do that without trying risky moves of rebooting the phone from your PC to order to get back the same old update that you enjoyed so much so I'm a little bit nervous and that's why trying to find more information making sure that nothing has changed the only thing that's been added is just a new software speed update

Does your Wing still have 4k video recording capabilities, I'm checking mine now and not seeing that option, only HD and FHD camera options 🤔🤔 since the android 13 update
Yes 4k on the regular camera app and 1080p using gimbal mode
@@TheTechPreacher thanks for the quick response Mr tech preacher, I found it on my phone it's only available now in manual mode, it was there in Auto mode before the Android 13 update, but I did notice they did add a " Steady -Cam function" not a bad trade-off.

I have the lg wing but I'm afraid to use it, incase I drop it and crack that front screen.
Get a case and a screen protector
@@TheTechPreacher got a tpu screen protector and a case for the back half of the phone but that front screen feels so exposed. I did buy a 3d printed case for the front but it kind of detracts from the look and feel of the phone. The lg wing is currently used as one of those at home only tablets for consuming media on. Pity it came with a mono speaker too but it’s still a bargain of a phone. I picked mine up for £250 and I intend to keep it as it’s a piece of mobile history.

whenever I switch to swivel mode, a few minutes later, the swipe up to home wont work anymore. in order to fix it, i have to go to the naviagtion bar settings > choose buttons only > press one of the navigation buttons, then switch back to gestures. i hate how tedious this every single time. hope the LG developers fix this before abandoning the whole project :(

Yes you need active sim and active At&T service to get updates unfortunately At&T is the only one that does this. Verizon and T-Mobile still update phones without active service. Sorry for the bad news
