    GOOD REVIEW But I prefer the 20" -24" barrels in the .308 AR-10 the 16" to much velocity is wasted in a fireball outside the muzzle. The AR 10 with 20" -24" barrel is affective at 1000 meters on 36" high 18" wide targets. Zeroed at 200 meters its very affective.

      As long as you can manage the weight, I 100% agree. The 6.5 Creedmoor Endeavor 24" model I tested a few years ago was capable of insane feats of marksmanship, even hitting the mile mark. What a machine.

    Those dang Triggertech Diamond Triggers are perfection. Those Canadians 🇨🇦- they killed it. There's absolutely no creep & the reset is amazing as well.
    Well worth the cost

    Nice looking in Burnt Bronze, I've not seen a bipod over the top like that , looks stable. Great Long range shooting.

    I bought mine from ABC Rifle in Las Vegas. I need to get at 400 yrds with it. I got a Monstrum Tactical 3-18x50 ffp. Awesome optics for the price.

    I like CMMG just not really liking most of the prices on their products….but I’m a HUGE fan of good running hard hitting 308 semiauto battle rifle 😊😊😊 love it 🥰!

    Once again another very nice explanation. Which one was more accurate,,,
    The palmetto gen 3 or this one? I would sincerely appreciate your advise on this.👍👍👍

      I think the CMMG was a bit more precise, but it was hard to tell. It may depend on the ammo. This CMMG LOVED Deer Season XP. The precision of those hits with the big scope was unexpectedly tight.

    I understand the use of something to soften the buttstock but if you are used to any military firearms, they are either steel plate or some hardened polymer. With it being lighter in weight is the recoil still similar to an M14 or M1A. I really liked your review of the PSA Gen3 and it’s adjustable gas block. Thank you also for testing out the iron sights and talking about the adjustments.

      I want to put Ultradyne sights on all my ARs now; as long as it's not getting dark out, they work like nothing else. Thanks for watching!

      I love everything CCMG. It's a brilliant design, and logical extension of their bufferless system. I got to try some of their others a while back.

    Always a succcinct review. Of course, the paper and steel or knock-down targets speak for themselves. It doesn't just look pretty, it works well.

    Bought this same set up, except for the scope. Trying to decide between a Trijicon Credo 1-6 with the BDC for .308, or Primary Arms SLx 1-8 with the ACSS for .308. Any input would be much appreciated. Good to see a fellow Okie, great review!!

      I don't know how the glass quality compares, but I love the ACSS reticle with its wind dots. It should be plenty capable across all reasonable scenarios.

    I would perfer a barrel with a 1:9 twist. Why? We'll I owned an old DSA FAL that had a Badger Cryo 1:9 19" fluted barrel which shot 175 match at 1 MOA.

    • @SocialRegressive
      @SocialRegressive  8 месяцев назад

      I would prefer that, too, with this short barrel. Apparently it's not a problem, though. I've been able to stabilize some big bullets. Maybe it won't handle the 230s.

    do (your) top 5 or 10 AR10's that are on the market, even can go further under 1000 paperbacks then 1500 then 2000 paperbacks

    • @SocialRegressive
      @SocialRegressive  10 месяцев назад +2

      It depends on use. I would happily take this into high volume hunting situations. If distances increase, I'll take the 6.5 Creedmoor Endeavor.

    Did you shoot it suppressed? If so was it extremely over-gassed? Thanks love the content

    • @SocialRegressive
      @SocialRegressive  10 месяцев назад +2

      I haven't tried this one suppressed yet. I just got it set up. I expect it to get a little gassy and dirty, but probably not too bad since it has a rifle-length gas system. My 6.5 Creedmoor model doesn't seem to care what's on the muzzle. It just runs like a clock.

      What rig, cartridge rifle and scope, would you optimize for the 300 yard 6 egg challenge?
