Wife and I went into this level expecting to be spooked and ended up just stopping and vibing with it lol then she immediately got jump scared by the first pop out alien 😂
They actually got the composer from Kirby 64 to work on some tracks! Through the Tunnel for example is one of them. In the sound test, all music composed by them will have text of that color!
Yeah, this is definitely top tier as far as level themes in this game go. The trippy visuals on the walls and floors of this level almost remind me of Rainbow Resort in Kirby's Adventure...
I tend to attribute stuff like this to the fact that two of the most recurring Kirby composers have worked on nearly every mainline game since the first. A lot of the time I don't think they do it on purpose. Unless there is some obvious connection being made (like Star Dream having a bit of Halberd music), it's probably just their respective styles poking through in familiar ways.
I love how you have games like resident evil where the music makes you realize that it’s just you, the darkness, and the monsters coming to get you but then you have Kirby and the forgotten land which has this.
Meanwhile Kirby: scary dancing level lol But the comments I found said they were jumpscared by the cardboard alien here. Then again this is Kirby, I think he was having the best time of his life beating up ghosts while vibing to this.
@@HeartAce59 Oh yeah. I mean, a pyramid full of Toads who got their faces punched out is definitely a house of horrors in itself. Both themes go really well in there.
@@seanobrien276 I've tried syncing the music from the point the Toads start dancing on the platform, until hole punch shows up and fights you. The part at 1:26 shows up RIGHT when Hole Punch's title frame appears. It just fits so PERFECTLY it's unreal.
Day 31 of the haltin days This place is haunted! The ghosts have taken over all the decorations of this dark and neon-styled place to make themselves a disco
If I had a nickel for everytime Nintendo mixed disco music with a horror setting, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
Nice to see a ghost house level that isnt scary, but instead vibrant and colorful.
It gives off FNF neo vibes for me
Ah hell nah bruh not fnf
Not just plain FNF, FNF neo, a mod, makes everything more difficult, and, like the name suggests, neon.
I'm aware of the mod's existence although I wasn't a huge fan of the music
considering the fact that wondaria seems like more of a kid-oriented theme park, that makes a lot of sense
Certified banger right here
Fancy seeing you here
Remix it dude ☻️
Hi glitchxcity! love your work lol
THIS FACT has been KIRBCHECKED by fellow KIRBHEADS: KIRB✔
this music and that 90s arcade neon aesthetic are two halves of a really damn good vibe
Or, alternatively, a modern day laser tag arena.
"Someone removed the 'G' from the graveyard sign"
"There was supposed to be a "G" on that sign?"
This comment is criminally underrated

The grooviest haunted level theme ever made

Danse Macabre from shovel knight just barely edges this one out for me, but it’s still a great song
@@BIGJUNK1MILLION i find Hidden By Night from Specter of Torment groovier tbh
Luigi’s mansion 3’s disco floor has some groovy stuff too
Mystic Mansion from Sonic Heroes was pretty fuckin' sweet too.

This was my favorite level/stage, light bulb Kirby is precious, and walking around in the dark as the light itself was fun.
I like to use the light as little as possible to make it more challenging to remember the safe path
i like to call this song “deflected laughter”
FINALLY, somebody who appreciates triple deluxe. credit where it's due, excellent pun.
I used to have triple deluxe played it to death it was fun and the music was one of the best parts
Seeing those blue ghost enemies (which in pretty sure came from triple deluxe) game me nostalgia weirdly
Funny, because the Spooksteps and Ghost Gordos come from that game

90’s Roller Rink Music
now THIS is a song to roller blade to. absolutely slaps
I'd give ya a like but you've got 69 as of me posting this.😎👉👉 Didn't wanna ruin it.
This track is the perfect blend of fresh and familiar. Kirby has always had great music, and this game really carries the legacy forward.
Aka, the calm before that damn lightbulb section.
One of the best levels in the game! I bought this game in 2022 of March and finally got around to playing it. Wow amazing !
This track gives me Dreamland 3 vibes, its awesome
With a hint of 64
yeah, it's the part at 0:35
Dreamland 3 Zero² theme...
This is quite possible the best theme in the game. I love how fun and silly it is.

I love the little electric guitar notes that come in when the songs loops.
Okay it might just be me but I swear this song has a leitmotif of something from Triple Deluxe. I can’t prove it but I feel like it is in there.
I hear bits and pieces from the UFO level from Kirby 64 as well.
I don't know about Triple Deluxe, but My Friend and the Sunset from Super Star is definitely playing at 0:50.
a lot of songs in this ost is like that. Sounds familiar, but cant quite tell where its from

A haunted house in the style of the 80s with an AMAZING soundtrack is probably one of the greatest level designs I've ever seen!

Someone needs to make a mashup of this and Thrills at Night from Paper Mario: Origami King.

My favorite level of the game with the design, aesthetic and the most 🔥 song they didn't have to make the song that damn hard for Kirby but damn bruh
I enjoyed this stage so much, and the track is really amazing!
When I first went through this levil I was all like "OH HELL YEAH" the music is so catchy.
Theme of waddling around as a lightbulb
This song had no right to go this hard. I love it.

the first thing i was thinking in this level was that the ghost enemies from triple deluxe returned
this song is so goddamn funky fresh!
Invasion at the house of horrors, more like listen to the groovy music!
well, at least we have something cool as Reflected Laughter.
God I forgot how hard this soundtrack banged
the bass is so much more pronounced with headphones
At around 0:36 it really sounds like something from canvas curse
Love the song, love the level, hate the missed opportunity for bringing back ghost Kirby from squeak squad
Too bad we'll never see an updated Dr. Mario game...cuz this track would fit perfectly!
of course the stage that gives postgame the most cancerous segments has music that goes so hard.
this is good. it gives off that 80s punk party vibe.
I personally think wondaria ruins has the best music in the game
The first 18 seconds is just about identical to Dr Mario's theme in smash
This would be a factory/laboratory theme if it was in Planet Robobot
Also why do I hear Steam Gardens in every Nintendo track
