Gotta love seeing Ethan race his old man hard and to hear Mark chirp him for it. The competition that comes out between two racers, especially when they are father/son is cool to watch.

2:18 your in luck, all 1/8th buggies these days with the exception of the one sitting to your left use cab forward bodies
If we had a track within an hour, this would be the next addition to the quiver. But because we won't be racing, we'll likely add the TLR tuned typhon

Can we get a tire test video at Indy? I can’t afford to go out and buy 4 or 5 sets of tires to test out, and I’m sure you have some laying around. Tuesdays for practice the track is always super wet and by mains it’s tacked up. An affordable tire test would be awesome too!

Only thing that ever broke on mine was the rear diff housing at the pin block. They are beasts.
Any racer will tell you proper tire selection is most important! Always find out which tire works best at the track you are racing!

Mark you should check out the Habao SSTE, I have the tlr typhon and the Habao and they are both set up with identical electronics but performance is massively different, awesome but different, a 3 way comparison would be sick!
Might have to sell my old 2.0s and get a newer 8th scale 😅

I don't think the TLR is the direct competitor to the Losi. The Kyosho MP10e Readyset is a more direct competitor to the Losi, but sadly I've never seen you review a Kyosho.

What are you talking about? The TLR Tuned TYPHON 6S and this Losi 8IGHT-XE 4X4are literally the same price. $630
@Shreddylife the rtr yes but I never mentioned the tlr rtr, the tlr roller has everything the rtr has but electronics and you can get a comparable 4s system for a rather affordable price and still have money left over and it just as good if not better then the 8ight/xe
