I have a tip and money saver. If you want to try the longer brushes you can purchase pencil extenders and make your normal brushes into a longer handle. They are very cheap and sold in sets. I highly recommend!!

Awesome video …really enjoyed watching it and have to say I share your liked items this year. However, I’ve not come across the Charvin Acrylic Paint and quite curious about it. I tend to gravitate towards Liquittex and Golden Heavy Body Acrylic paints. I also enjoy using acrylic inks in my art and think the FW, Liquittex and Amsterdam inks. With regards to watercolour in addition to your favourite brands I also have Kuratake and Rosa in my favourites. Thank you for sharing this video.

Thank you ☺️ Those sound love lovely art supplies. I too was mainly Liquitex and Golden until I found Charvin, and I only came across them at random by watching another artist’s video a few years ago. I’ve heard of Rosa and Kuratake watercolours and have been thinking of testing them out.

I need a professional watercolor set. I am transitioning from the student sets. What do you recommend?

Hello ☺️ When it comes to watercolours I always say go with what offers the colours you like and the price range you want to spend. I love Roman Szmal Watercolours because they are amazing quality, great colours and priced just right. But I also like Mission Gold and Sennelier. What are you currently using?

Hi- I am using Grabie. I saw W&N has a professional set of 24 for $97. How do those differ from Szmal?

@@vanessacastagnoli1126 W&N is a popular brand, though I haven’t used them in a looong time. They are a little expensive where I am which is why I gravitated away from them some time ago. W&N come in half pans, full pans and tubes where Szmal comes in full pans and half pans. Szmal is also a handmade small-ish business which may mean you can only get them online vs in store like you can with W&N. In the end it will come down to your own personal preferences, with colour options, pricing and how they preform. If it is an option perhaps try one colour from each prior to jumping right in.
