  • First two projects are complete and delivered to the watch tower! This was where the smaller root was supposed to reside, however as you can see it was just too small for that table. Make sure to take a guess what the third project is going to be!

Honestly thought that it would look cooler with that live edge filled with epoxy. Keeping that live edge exposed though absolutely was the right choice with that house! Totally fits the design of the home way better than if it had been filled in. Nice work!

Loved the video Matt!! Both tables came out great. I like the touch on the redwood with not filling that one side in with epoxy. I would say that whole area upstairs needs some kind of countertop. Maybe like a floating countertop that goes all along the windows and of course some chairs to match. Great video keep it up!!

They’re both gorgeous pieces. If it was my table, I would’ve wanted it filled in with epoxy. The poker table was a beautiful build as well. My guess.. $64,225.00. After watching you work while sitting on a cement floor, I’m going to suggest you buy yourself a low riding chair/stool with casters. My hubby got one for cleaning the tires and we both used it recently when we top coated our nightstands with epoxy. They’re not very expensive and worth every penny. As far as videography goes.. I really dislike having to turn the audio up to hear dialogue, only to get blasted out with loud machinery a moment later. Just something to maybe be aware of. You’re a very talented and hard working craftsman.

First of all: what an amazingly beautiful building 😳
    I'd love to live there.
I'd prefer the exposed bit to be epoxy I think. I usually don't but the rest of the table is so smooth and slick. It looks almost a different piece. Hard to explain, and don't get me wrong, I love the piece, but it's not 100%... How do I say this... Coherent? I say this respectfully and with no intention of any negative comment about your work in any way.

The grain in the RW table is magic mate, doubt you could have done any better with that, you have made to wood come alive.. About the full circle, I really don’t know, I suppose it would look more finished being all round…. The other table is great, would like to see something like that made into a full epoxy filled table with some LED’s underneath, overall you have the right ideals and respect not just for the wood, but for your customer, for being a successful Woodie…

As the daughter of a Master finish carpenter I really appreciate the time and patience that goes into the attention to detail in your pieces…& let the natural characters of each piece of wood shine with minimal manipulation while pairing it with other materials like metal & resin…The coffee table is a really special slab & contrasts beautifully against the floors…The dinning table is so elegant…& should be called Black Swan…with the delicate thickness of its top…floating above the movement & taper of its perfectly chosen black base made me think of a prima ballerina dressed in black…the only thing I would have changed would have been to fill the smaller live edge…a) because it’s a soft piece of redwood…b) because I know a table at that height…I’d constantly be catching my pockets…belt loops…sweaters on that spot & for that reason would be fearful of breaking off one of the sides…c) I feel it would have completed the polished look for me…but a) I’m not the client…& b) I’m not the artist…still a stunning piece Matt!

The redwood is beautiful. I dont mind the bite out but dont think it needs to be so raw. Next a taller unit like a bar....
