Hey Brother! Long time, been waiting for this video. Probably THE most unique pieces of wood I've ever seen! Like the A-10 Warthog where they built the plane around the gun, your client's house will have to built around that massive piece, wow! That light colored burl I would cut into 2" slabs, you'd be able to make several amazing tables from that and still keep the uniqueness of it IMHO. Thanks and will continue to keep an eye out. Thanks again!!!

Crazy pieces right?! They’re seriously incredible to see in person, it’s really hard to portray on video the sheer size of these. Thank you for watching!🙏🏻

I'd be interested in hearing how you got to this level of work, and how you got these clients. Clearly you are extremely talented, but how did you come to be involved with doing projects that sell for so much? Perhaps consider doing a video on this, please. Your story must be an interesting one.
Watching videos like this is humbling for us little guys out here having to deal with clients who want expensive projects done for the least amount of money. lol
I'd love to be involved with clients who don't care about money, and just want the best possible work and product. I strive to do my best at all times, but sometimes the money I make doesn't allow me to take the time I'd really like to take on something, so I have to find a balance between high quality, and time efficient.
I had to start out at the bottom making farm tables out of framing lumber that took me a week to build and finish, and I was selling for 500-1000 dollars. I've come a long way from there, but still far from where I'd like to be.
Thanks for the videos, I can't wait to see the finished redwood root table, and your future projects.

I may do a Q&A one of these days, I’d be happy to share my story! I was absolutely the guy who started out just like you, made the same farm tables etc, but I always wanted to push the boundaries. Always be coachable, and put yourself in uncomfortable and uncharted territory. It forces you to learn and adapt, this comes with failure however, IMO failure the best way to lean and make progression! Good luck!🤘🏻

Hey Matt …….. Fan Root looks amazing 😮……. When I first seen it standing up like that my initial thought was what an amazing entrance to a building that would make if you cut a doorway into the middle, looking forward to your next project keep up the good work 👍

Gary, I bought two pieces (the big fan too), two of which are unicorns in my world. You won't find them ever again, like they always say things are worth what someone is willing to pay. This could be overpriced, or it couldn't it just depends on who it is your talking to. Cheers!
