love that penny can!! how cool!!! you guys always find the hidden gems!!! you do such a great job with your commentary, Milin!! We enjoyed this video so much!! So great camping with great people and get to share the love of it with others!! Can't wait to see what Beach to Mountains is!!! Loved the video as always!!
So glad you enjoyed it. We had such an adventure, this was an awesome trail and glad we could share it. It is one trip that should be be a journey with friends.
We need positive energy in everything in life, at home, at school, at work, and everywhere. Positive energy spreads happiness, makes our duties less hard, and helps us achieve more. In the face of life challenges and hardships, we need positive energy to keep going, and we need people with positive energy to help those around them stand on their feet and overcome their difficulties. Thanks for sharing👍 You got a new subscriber🥰
We can’t wait to do it again also! So glad you all had fun. Loved all the photos you posted. It was a full day of work editing, had to get it done before going back to the nine to five ☺️
This looks like such a great trip! I'm a huge western fan, so every time you explore places like this I can't help but see scenes from the old shows & movies 😁. Thx for sharing the journey!! ✌️
Like how when you're with a group you pull out the maps in your planning group sessions. The penny can tree is cool. Makes you wonder who started that. 10 hours of driving is quite a long day. Hanging out by the fire with a hot meal is a great way to spend the evening. Leave no trace is what we wish everyone practiced. It sounded more like a war strategy meeting. Ribeyes! Nice. Looks like another amazing trip.
We enjoy learning on these trips from our fellow travelers. There were some added quirks along the trail that made it fun. The best part was the history. Thank you friends for watching and leaving us comment.
Wow! Epic adventure Plus history, totally our cup of tea! So fun to do the trek with a group too. This makes us miss the desert! Love all of the stops along the way. Thanks so much for taking us along! Safe travels-Scott and Tammy
The history combined with the trail made this trip so epic! This is one trail that you want to compete with at least two rigs for safety. Thanks for coming along for the adventure friends!
Wow these roads are legendary, to travel these roads that indigenous people used to travel is amazing. Doing all of those miles it's very tiring. The desert can be beautiful and harsh at the same time.
Thank you!!! These people made this such an awesome experience. Looking forward to traveling with them again. Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment, we appreciate it.
I love desert landscapes, they are so different to my area and it is wonderful to see different places. Without a doubt the mine and the historical past of the area is a bonus 👍
You hit the nail on the head, the historical past made this trip so much more lively and exciting. We are so lucky that our friends had such knowledge to share with us. Thanks for watching and coming along for the ride.
Wow that is really incredible place, the memorial part is really interesting, thanks for sharing your tour guys we enjoyed it and the scenery, have fun and stay safe 🔥🔥💯🤗
Congratulations Guys! This was and outstanding video. I love the scenery and all the history you brought out. Thank You for making great videos like this!
That was an amazing trip. Definitely makes it better when you have a caravan of cool people. Loved all the stops , but that abandoned mine was really neat, glad to see Millian got her 1st water crossing ! Keep up the amazing work !
This is one trip that is pretty remote and good to take as a group. We all had a blast and she was pretty excited to do that water crossing! Thanks so much for watching.
Looks like a fun place to 4x4 it. Oh cool fort ruins. Ok the penny can thing is pretty cool. First I've heard of that. Awesome place to set up camp! Spam!! We had spam in one of our recent vids. It's a great food for camping!! We definitely need to get some real maps before we go overlanding. Loving the rock house!! Neat guest book thing. It's really cool that you have these neat little stops on your trip. Pretty view from that camp! The mine is pretty neat, but thinking I'd pass on going in. Those kind of scare me. Never heard of the traveling monument either. A little muddin' by the bridge. Fun!! There's so much cool stuff in this video!!
It was quite an adventure packed three days! We packed in a-lot of driving miles but had some great stops along the way for exploring! Can’t go wrong with Spam when camping! Thank you friends for watching and your continued support!
Awesome video! My to do list for 2021. I'll probably take a small group with me lol. Took down some notes while watching this video! Hope to meet you guys soon.
Thank you so much. There was so much footage to go through. It sure is a beautiful place with an amazing landscape. Thank you for suggesting the map, great idea 👍🏼
hey, what happens when that can is full for real? lol What an awesome trip you had here.... very cool stuff... I love how you guys show the planning of the routes, also... gotta love a paper map, eh? :)
I believe the park ranges come out and empty it, but not 💯 sure. This was a great trip and having a map gives you better spatial awareness. Thanks for watching friends.
Kids..... more dialogue please. Back there you stopped at a place that had some buildings and a mine. What is/was that?? Looked like someone lived there.. yes?? I like your background music. Nice touch. Thanks for sharing..... Ax
Hello and thank you for coming along our trip on the Mojave Road. Yes, there are several abandoned mines and some cabins maintained by volunteers as adopt-cabin, which are functional and people actually camp at. Some are the Aiken Cinder Mine, Paymaster Mine, and Oro Fino, which were gold mines dating to 1900 or so.
Do you know the history of the penny can? how did that tradition start? Another great adventure btw, I would never be able to make it out there in my minivan.
@@OpenRoad4Two Nice! looks amazing! :) I got swamped with crazy turnaround deadlines that need to complete by this week. I would have been over stressed. So glad it was a great trip.
@@OpenRoad4Two in afton canyon, there is an area where you can park and hike in where the canyon turns very narrow and essentially pitch black into a cave and has rock climbing sections to go out the other side. Then when you back to Afton Canyon to explore that, also make time to check out the Mojave Mega horn which is outside the canyon by maybe 40 mins.

There are some steep climbs with ruts and rocks and a sandy area that require 4WD.
Argh I only have a single-legger
Thank You for the tip😇
Thanks for the video, enjoyed it. Question...did you have to use the gas in the Rotopaxs or did you make it on a tank of gas?
We made it ok in our Tacoma. The Jeeps utilized ⛽️ in their Rotopaxs.
