Just so there's no confusion, anti-oxidants are not related to anti-inflammatories. they serve 2 very different properties, anti-oxidants mainly decreasing the progress of free-radical damage, and anti-inflammatories reducing the effects of prostaglandins that cause inflammation. with the magic bullet, there's notches where you line up the cup with the base to start blending it, but i've noticed some people don't realize that once you push the cup down, you can turn it so the notches hook under the lip and stay down, so you don't have to keep your hand pushing down on it! it's much more convenient. :) i've noticed both you and missglamorazzi have done this! hopefully this is helpful to you!
After watching this video I headed over to Byron's channel to watch the collab video. It was so cute! That salmon dish looked amazing and you two are always so great together :)
Anytime I dont feel well, or am bloated or tired, I crave fruit. I never understood what people meant when they said they feel alive from eating raw foods. I totally understand now. Not to mention,if we strive to have at least 3 to 5 different colors in our meal, chances are they are really healthy choices! compared to fast food, or junk food .. it is usually a beige or brown color -_- ewwie
I watch both your channel and Byron's. I'm doing a cleans right now so I'm so happy to see these healthy meal options so I can go from my cleans right on to these easy meals and great on the go recipes. Thanks

Great video as always Rachel! I think its great that you are encouraging healthy options to your subscribers and giving some great ideas! I couldn't help but leave a wee comment about the potassium in the coconut water. Potassium is an important electrolyte but too much of it can cause hyperkalaemia which is a medical emergency and needs to be treated promptly. I know the odd smoothie here and there will not do any harm but if its something that's taken all the time (and keeping in mind the other foods with high potassium that maybe consumed) then it can be worrying. I don't want to discourage you or your lovely subbies from making the smoothie but just wanted to put that point out there! I really hope you don't mind. Keep up the great work :) x

It's funny you say about the blueberry and chia smoothie, I have one very similar to that every morning and I even did a video on it a month or so ago :-) I use almond milk as my liquid normally but I may incorporate coconut water occasionally now that you mentioned it as it's so good for you :-) loving your channel more and more these days! just mix them with water and refrigerate them, overnight works good so that they have time to absorb all the water.
I love your smoothie how much chia seeds did you use and how much water and how long did you soaked then they gelled up nice
