I would add Walt Disney World standing up to Florida #GovRonDeSantis' and fellow #GOP politicians against his homophobic and racist laws. Not only "Don't Say Gay" bill, Governor DeSantis is BANNING schools and businesses from teaching/enacting diversity rules/regulations. Disney Cast Members are the most diverse people anywhere, all because they are "drawing creativity from diversity". Because Disney Corp stood up to him, he stripped WDW of "Reedy Creek" and replaced it with his high-paid cronies who don't do anything. Universal? No regulations. Sea World? No regulations. Any Florida businesses? Nope.

I say one of their best decisions was back when they distributed the studio Ghibli films. Because, if they didn’t, the studio wouldn’t have been as popular and well known as it today. But even, if they don’t anymore, I’m glad GKIDS distribute their movies, who’s doing really well to this day, and even got the dub right from them.

Disney is pretty amazing. Honestly most of their films tell great stories and their film scores are just awesome. They’re musical scores will blow you away especially some of the songs that they do will get stuck in your head. I like that they’re remaking their movies I know most of it is terrible, but either way they’re remakes of movies is pretty cool Like some of them and I have favorites I like it at Disneyland. They have fast passes my sister and I had one for a while but then they took away the fast pass program at one point my dad actually met Walt Disney when he was alive and it was pretty amazing to hear that story from my dad to meet him and Walt Disney. Thank you so much for bringing Disneyland to everybody’s childhood. You may be gone but not forgotten.

lol Disney hasn't made a smart decision in YEARS. Acquiring Marvel and Lucas Film may have seemed like a interesting idea at first but I've read that many fans of both franchises have not liked what Disney has done to them in the last few years. The 20th Century Fox purchase was an even worse decision. Disney acquiring all these extra companies made them look greedy beyond comprehension and forgetting what they used to be about. Keeping vintage attractions? These days Disney likes to throw them out and replace them. The most popular of all, Splash Mountain, is being replaced completely and It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean have both changed drastically to what they were originally. Disney as a company today SUCKS. I'm not saying they were always perfect, but at least they had imagination and creativity.

The DUMBEST Decisions Disney Has Ever Made (in no particular order)
    1) Treating Robin Williams poorly. Robin was a big part of the success of Aladdin but he was only paid a flat fee and when the film took off, he wasn't given a bonus. This damaged the relationship between Williams and the company. Amends were eventually made, but by that time, years had passed and opportunities were lost.
    2) Trying to pass off The Lion King as original work. The movie stole generously from the TV series "Kimba the White Lion." I know, I know, there's a video out there where some lunkhead poo poos the idea that Disney stole from Kimba, but he's basing his premise on the series pilot. No, you have to watch the first two seasons to get all the things the evil empire stole from the TV series. Just as, the book "The Hunt For Red October" was over 2,000 pages long, did Tom Clancy put all of the story details in the first chapter? Hell no. Stealing someone else's work really sullies your reputation and my love for the company came to an end when I saw the movie.
    3) Buying Pixar. The past two Pixar works (Soul and Turning Red) have performed very poorly and this is because of a series of really bad decisions made by the evil empire. It was just a matter of time until the evil empire sullied the brand. Very recently, a significant amount of Pixar employees have been let go because of financial problems that the evil empire created.
    4) Buying Lucasfilm. In and of itself, not a bad idea, but placing Kathleen Kennedy in charge was a really really really bad idea. SW's protagonists suddenly became female. No, I'm not being misogynistic, but did you see females holding off Mexicans at The Alamo, or females holding the line at Bunker Hill? No. And SW films have had diminishing success at the box office because of decisions made by Kennedy. Likewise, the SW TV series spin offs have suffered as well.
    5) Killing TGIF. The first thing that the evil empire did after buying ABC was killing TGIF. This was done to draw kids to it's cable channel. Over a decade, TGIF had grown long in the tooth, but with some tweaking, the Friday night block of kid sitcoms could still be going today.
    6) THE MESSAGE. Wokeness has made made the evil empire lose nearly a billion dollars over it's past ten movies. Personally, I hope that the trend continues because I want the evil empire to go down in flames, just as Nazi Germany died in flames in May 1945.
The good news is that Elon Musk and a man named Nelson Peltz could very well buy the evil empire. Oh man, Bob Iger needs to go, along with Kennedy.

    • @annien.1727

How DARE you say such callous stuff like that?!😡 I'm NOT going to let Disney go down in flames, I'm planning to SAVE it! And you really are narrow-minded to believe that "The Lion King" was some plagiarized form of Kimba the White Lion. Let me tell you, that rumor is FALSE!!! It's NOT PLAGERIZED in any way!😡The Lion King is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet, NOT Kimba. NO plagiarism was ever involved! Stop believing in false rumors and the like! It's a real darn shame your love for Disney ended because of its popular blockbuster movie. Oh, well.🤷🏻‍♀ Your BIG loss for believing such lies.
Also, the Disney empire is NOT evil, just misguided. Once I get a job at Disney as a 2-d artist, I'll turn things around at Disney. I'll help the crumbling empire that defined my childhood get back on its feet and abolish the woke agenda once and for all! I hope that Elon Musk succeeds and helps me achieve my goal.
