Had my eye on this case for my wife's build. Now, I'll look at the other cases you suggested. I'm currently rocking the Phanteks so I might try the Montech.
I have the Mini-ITX version of the Phanteks case that was mentioned. They really don't give you a lot of room for cable management, considering the option for a side mounted radiator. I have an EVGA 3080 Ti hybrid that has a 240mm external radiator, and the rear side panel leave's almost NO room for cable management. The side panel is currently open until I get custom shorter power cables.
Just built in this case for a super budget, spare parts build I did for my buddy’s kid. Got it for $64 and had zero issues. I even got the $19 Thermaltake CPU fan wired up with the case fans. I was very impressed with it in general. I7 6700, 1660 combo ran super cool and it was relatively easy to build in. Moving fan cables and stand-offs is a little annoying but I thought it was great for the money.
I think I can live without a USB C port, and I think it's fine that they removed it because a USB C port is quite expensive when compared to a couple of USB A ports or an reset switch.
I wish I saw this video before buying this case on sale. My build in this new case won't work and after a few people looking at it with no luck I'm wondering if I got a dud of this case that was returned to the company after it stopped working for a previous customer.
I was looking for reviews of this case, and I'm sure you can put a bigger PSU if you remove the HDD tray. The HDD tray can be removed with a few screws on the bottom of the case.
@@animalyze7120 any case is designed for whatever you can fit in. This case was clearly designed with a removable HDD tray for that extra space for the PSU. I'm just mentioning that he never removed that tray, so his statement about the PSU compatibility is wrong.
Hi Robeytech, I'm wondering, if it's possible to move the front fans to in front of the chassis (i.e. to be just behind the front mesh), to give more room for GPU inside. If so, can you also comment if it's possible to mount 3 x 120mm fans at the front, again, in front of the chassis rather than on the inside. Thanks!
I bought this case a few weeks ago and was finally able to build 3 days ago. My fans also have a SATA cable. The RGB worked for a while, and then when I moved the PC from the table I was building on, onto a desk, the RGB quit working. I can't figure out why.
I just bought this case for my first build. The rgb on the fans worked the first day and then suddenly stopped, but the fans themselves still work. Now I know it might be the molex cable.
I just did a build with this case. Overall it was fine. I’m not too anal about cable management. As long as it looks decent and works, I’m good. The fans worked, the rgb works fine. I did have to take the back fan off to get the motherboard in. I used the MSI B550 Tomahawk ATX motherboard. I also had to add the additional stand off for the right edge of the board. One additional thing that I noticed was the front panel plug ins (power switch, hdd led and power led) were very loose when plugged into the pins. Not sure how that’s going to go. Overall I’d give the case a B-.
Hello, can you please help me with the gpu. I’m a new builder but I have no clue how to screw in the gpu with this case like what screw do I use and what is the slider thing for near the brackets. I’ve been trying to find a video that will show it but I cant find one

Hey Robeytech! Can you help me out really quick? My case is giving me lots of anxiety lol. So I believe my Antec NX800 case fried my motherboard (I ordered a new board earlier today). Could it have been the standoff screws that were preinstalled or the ones that I installed? Or was it one of the Front panel connectors or something? I really do believe the case is behind it since the build worked in my first case right before I swapped it. (All the case fans were working and lighting up, so it leads me to believe the standoff risers are the culprit possibly?) Or did me installing the HDD_LED connector wrong the first time fry my board? It'll help me out IMMENSELY if I knew what the culprit is, so I don't end up frying my new motherboard that's coming in on monday. Thank you Robeytech if you reply!
@Ujjwal No, I ended up having to buy a whole different motherboard. The case ended up frying my motherboard. LOL. The reason for this was because of the extra standoff screws that they give you. I installed them onto the case for motherboard (ATX size motherboard). Either I installed them wrong (I highly doubt it since, well.. just screw them in. I think the either the extra standoffs aren't properly made or something or I just ended up stripping off the "paint" from the standoff screws. Either way! I would AVOID installing the extra standoff screws that come with the case! Just leave the preinstalled screws that are already in the case there and just use those. That's what I've been doing for months now and NOT EVEN ONE ISSUE with the case now. Overall, it's a great case! If you can though, I'd recommend fetching the extra $10 - $30 for the Lian Li Mesh 2 case! It's far better than this case IMO! Or if there's even a Lian Li Mesh 3 case now (Not sure, just saying if there is then that's what you should go for!).
You also didn't include the fact that you can't fit all those rads in at the same time from the looks of it. Just replaced my Meshify C with a 5000D. The Meshify C was extremely limited with water cooling (even 2 AIO's) to the point that I just upgraded. System also runs much cooler now with just 4 fans and one AIO.
I made the mistake of buying the Antec NX-310 .. and it looked cool.. but everything else was horrible!!! I will never buy an Antec case again.. It is cheap.. it looks cheap, feels cheap and is obvious cheap.. Now My Phanteks P360A in white? Could not be happier with it.. really!
