I suspect Walmart would rather the thief escape, rather than risk employees being injured or even killed. The uniformed guards are probably there to minimize the risk of violence, more so than to take back stolen goods.

exactly!! im about to flip at these stores!!! that they let bums walk out with merch and we have to pay for ours plus the foot the bills cus of thief’s!!😡😡😡😡🙄 call out these companies for not doing anything!!!
It depends on what state you live in. In California, you can shoplift up to $1000 and the DA won't even press charges. If you do get arrested and you prove to be financially unable to pay a bond, you are released on PR Bond. That's basically, a get out of jail free card. No consequences for their actions.
I think also cracking down on, "Fencing" operations online and in-person will help stem the tide. Just like they did to pawn shops, require id and proof that you own these things or have paid for them.
If an offender commits an offense more than once, they must stay in jail until they are Judge in court. No bond, and no parole. We need much harsher sentences too.
Wow. Keep them in jail until they become a judge in a court is asking a lot. They would have to go to law school behind bars. Harsher sentences? I don't know, your first sentence was pretty harsh, grammatically speaking.

Unfortunately if they'd put together a specific group of trained employees inside each store and hold these scumbags responsible for their actions and without the proverbial slap on the wrist that these asinine liberal judges come up with then every community could enjoy the benefits of retail businesses in them. But until shoplifters are held accountable it'll never happen..
This is the only part of Sharia law that I believe in and support. If you go down to chop chop square on a Friday after midday prayers, you can watch the criminals get justice.
Shoplifting has become a competition. The shoplifters want to be proud of what they get away with. So out doing the next shoplifter is the thing to do. There must be a best shoplifters award
We're only seeing the tip of the iceberg. The fence operations are getting more and more sophisticated. Especially when it comes to jewelry from smash and grabs.
I have thought about this for a while. Doors, doors, and more doors. A simple solution would be for Any Store, to have "two" 3 tiered entry or exits for vetted customers, non-vetted customers, or criminals. Vetted customers get a bar code to pass through quickly using entry/exit #1, while "others" have to wait a few seconds between the opening of each door, using entry/exit #2. Example-entry/exit #2: Pass through 1 door, wait, pass another door, wait, and repeat until you are inside or outside. In the case of criminal conduct, the security guard puts the doors on lock down, until police arrive. This would be less expensive and would be a huge deterrent for shop lifting.
Our country is at war with organized Street crime this is the century of security detail to keep our communities safe let all abiding citizens be aware of these growing issues.
The Bible stole much of its content from ancient Mesopotamian poetry written hundreds of years earlier, I'm not sure your god even exists, nevermind keeping anyone safe.
Working in retail was ridiculous every night I would see the same people come back and steal a shit ton. Albuquerque needs to do something about this. I always hated just watching them steal all of this stuff
I just came back from Colombia where I saw dozens of open air markets with shoes and valuables open to passers-by on the sidewalk with no sign of security. I asked several vendors if they had any problems with people grabbing items and running away without paying for them. No one said they had any problems.
The only thing these retailers can do is close their stores. Sad to do but this is the reality and true cost of what happens when thieves steal. Not only they hurt the stores and it’s employees but they hurt the community.
I worked at the family dollar off of 36th in Tucson AZ. and they shoplifted the store closed. I'm pretty sure the lot is still empty right by Henry's market.
I doubt that was the reason. FD is just a crappy store. Every one i go i see out of date food, mispriced products, employees standing around BSing with each other with those problems going on.
This is why we could never have a civilized society. These same criminals want respect, while they disrespect all of us. Treat them how they will treat you, with little respect.
Some well known stores that won't leave are putting aside floor space for mini police stations/offices inside them, 2-3 cops in them, besides also store security they have. They are working with the police to have on duty cops on the premises to lower the crime there. I read this lately.
I totally agree. They can take them off speed trap duty for the city and show these thieves easy pickins is over because we all pay for it with crazy high prices.
Who would have thought that ignoring and excusing shoplifting would cultivate an attitude of entitlement to the point of defending it with a gun? Hmmmmmm....???
I think facial recognition systems should be implemented at the entrance of each store and anyone who shoplifted previously should be denied admittance
On the West coast, especially, it's like "Thank-you for shoplifting at our store, please come again.", "We value our shoplifters." and "The shoplifter is always right.".
I worked at a clothing store and they told us that if we even said to stop that we would be fired the only thing we could do is let it happen and take down their license plate. The problem is that when the thieves get caught the next day they get out. WHY WHY WHY. Just keep them in jail for a long time.
The jails are already full of terrible offenders such as those caught possessing weed during a traffic stop. Thieves who return to the community and continue to steal over and over again can't be expected to stay in jail with someone who does something as horrifying as smoking joints.
Read about the Sackler family.
Why? Constitutional law prevents your lock em up mentality. If you hate America move out. But you GOP losers aren't going to curtail my constitutional rights.
Time to start cutting off the hand that steals for the first offense. Your head must be next !
@@chrisparker7256 seriously, they need to make second offense, or even first with a weapon the death penalty, bet crime would slow down. If they're willing to kill to get away, they don't belong in society. Prison doesn't teach criminals shit besides new tactics and drugs from other prisoners.
I use to work for the company that provides security at Walmart. We were paid well. But our hands were tied and weren't able to do anything about it. Really sucked what Walmart wanted out of us
I suspect Walmart would rather the thief escape, rather than risk employees being injured or even killed. The uniformed guards are probably there to minimize the risk of violence, more so than to take back stolen goods.
I'm a woman and I was stopped and accused of shoplifting my own suitcase that I brought in from another store at Walmart.

Keep it up guys! If not stores are going to close and leave the areas. And that’s going to leave the residents without options and choices choices.
As long as the justice system is a revolving door for these criminals who feel that the consequences for their actions are minimal, nothing will change. In fact, things will get worse.
True!
Ever since they opened the borders it's gotten worse....
This is by design.😐
Oh I forgot, USA is a third world country these days
Simple solution, chop off the hands of the thieves...but America is toooooooooooooooo soft.
Desperate used to be a word to describe this action. I think we can retire it being used today. Not Desperate, when it comes with no repercussions. Its More of taking advantage of a weak spot in the law.
This right here ☝☝☝
It anything happens to them it is likely a slap on the hands. Hands? Hmm, I remember watching one video in another country where the local folks got tired of one guy who kept on stealing things from people. They did some street justice by cutting one hand off.
@@Rhaspun Yea, because we need bullshit like that in America...
that's shit archaic and underdeveloped 3rd world do. it hasn't stopped shoplifting there yet certainly gives thieves far more reason to utilize extreme violence to avoid capture though. how many people you think would be willing to shoot their way out if stopped knowing they will be fucking mutilated if arrested & convicted?
Good job, keep it up! Maybe we can turn this country around!
Yes I like to say to the law enforcement y'all are doing a great job I'm glad that somebody is starting to do something about his teenage crime epidemic that we're facing continue the good work God be with you
I live in Seattle virtually all the shops on 45 Street N & NE have boarded up places where glass doors once were. Steal a van, smash door, steal goods. How long can these stores stay open? How much stealing are we paying for? I saw a video where a group of guys did a beat down of a thief because his stealing was causing prices to rise. They could not afford the tools they need!
pawn shops are loaded with low priced tools.
If shoplifting is ok at Walmart then everyone can just walk in and get what they want, what a store
Walmart been in the news for charging people with a crime for not scanning merchandize at the self checkout counters.
exactly!! im about to flip at these stores!!! that they let bums walk out with merch and we have to pay for ours plus the foot the bills cus of thief’s!!😡😡😡😡🙄 call out these companies for not doing anything!!!
Careful your ignorance is showing..
@@samthepoet107 This is all the time. I have walked up to those things with money owed on them where they were scanned but he person never paid.
It depends on what state you live in. In California, you can shoplift up to $1000 and the DA won't even press charges. If you do get arrested and you prove to be financially unable to pay a bond, you are released on PR Bond. That's basically, a get out of jail free card. No consequences for their actions.
Cops should be assigned to shopping centers
I think also cracking down on, "Fencing" operations online and in-person will help stem the tide. Just like they did to pawn shops, require id and proof that you own these things or have paid for them.
If an offender commits an offense more than once, they must stay in jail until they are Judge in court. No bond, and no parole. We need much harsher sentences too.
U have Brandon in office bro
I agree with you don’t let them out and be more aggressive with the punishment
Colin Flaherty's book "Don't make the black kids Angry" comes to mind.
Wow. Keep them in jail until they become a judge in a court is asking a lot. They would have to go to law school behind bars. Harsher sentences? I don't know, your first sentence was pretty harsh, grammatically speaking.
@@bassinbillRC5300as almost all these people where white and the video I watched before had all white people but hey at least they aren't shooting up the place as usual. White on white crime is a damn shame though
These thieves need to be stopped because it is costing us all !!!!!!
Exactly!!
Make shoplifting a minimum ten year felony prison sentence, fire every DA who refuses to prosecute and charge the DA with dereliction of duty.
At WalMart they let thief’s get away with stealing. But as the law abiding citizens are forced to show receipts of purchases they paid for. Get tough on criminals.
Publicly and violently remove a hand for first time offenders. This is why certain communities are unable to have grocery stores or any retail stores in them, if you don't see a grocery store, but see alot of liquor stores and check cashing joints instead of banks, you are in the hood.
THE STATES ATTORNEY'S.....MANDATORY GOVERNMENT LAW.........INVESTIGATIONS OF THESE ESTABLISHMENTS .....
INTENTIONAL .........SUCCESSFUL PROFITS.........OF BAD DEBT INSURANCE CLAIMS/PROFITS
They be back out on the street in hours to do it all over again 😔
Shoplifting has become a competition. The shoplifters want to be proud of what they get away with. So out doing the next shoplifter is the thing to do. There must be a best shoplifters award
This looks like a success story- remarkable !

Great idea.
Good idea but the woke brigade will shout discrimination in entry
"Book him Danno"!!😂😂😂
this is going on all over the country!!!!!they just get out 2 days later
When they can't shoplift at stores they're going to private residences instead.
there are home owners with guns. there are people that will make their day
Our country is at war with organized Street crime this is the century of security detail to keep our communities safe let all abiding citizens be aware of these growing issues.
The answer lies in implementing higher sentencing and adopting a zero-tolerance approach towards theft and robbery.
Thank you all,so glad to see you get the crooks,God bless and keep you all safe.
Get a customer like me who slaps the shit out of them lol. Did that already.
Im REALLY TIRED of shoplifters grabbing and running- book em Dano!
I just came back from Colombia where I saw dozens of open air markets with shoes and valuables open to passers-by on the sidewalk with no sign of security. I asked several vendors if they had any problems with people grabbing items and running away without paying for them. No one said they had any problems.
*#Everyone** involved with **#Treason** must be held **#Accountable** and **#Prosecuted** in the highest possible way.*
Finally, now don't just release them back into general population, especially the ones using firearms while committing crimes
The only thing these retailers can do is close their stores. Sad to do but this is the reality and true cost of what happens when thieves steal. Not only they hurt the stores and it’s employees but they hurt the community.
And then the community wonders why the stores close.
@@davidcox3076 and then since there's no stores, they will target homes.
An old retired guy working at wallmart to afford Christmas gifts to his grandchildren doesn't deserve this
I worked at the family dollar off of 36th in Tucson AZ. and they shoplifted the store closed. I'm pretty sure the lot is still empty right by Henry's market.
I doubt that was the reason. FD is just a crappy store. Every one i go i see out of date food, mispriced products, employees standing around BSing with each other with those problems going on.
All the dollar stores in Albuquerque have broken windows with plywood.
This is why we could never have a civilized society. These same criminals want respect, while they disrespect all of us. Treat them how they will treat you, with little respect.
'Shpect.
Forget 'rehabilitation'. These people need dealt with hard core long term jail sentences. 15 years no parole.
Some well known stores that won't leave are putting aside floor space for mini police stations/offices inside them, 2-3 cops in them, besides also store security they have.
They are working with the police to have on duty cops on the premises to lower the crime there. I read this lately.
This needs to be in ever city and put more cops on it.
I totally agree. They can take them off speed trap duty for the city and show these thieves easy pickins is over because we all pay for it with crazy high prices.
What? Remember states were ring to defund them! They don't need them! The criminals loved that!
This needs to happen in San Francisco CA. Our city and economy is dead
Make it a felony with mandatory prison sentences so the judges can not let them off.
Now I understand why big retailers don't want their employees involved. If they get hurt they might have to pay them a lot of money.
Who would have thought that ignoring and excusing shoplifting would cultivate an attitude of entitlement to the point of defending it with a gun?
Hmmmmmm....???
😂
I think facial recognition systems should be implemented at the entrance of each store and anyone who shoplifted previously should be denied admittance
On the West coast, especially, it's like "Thank-you for shoplifting at our store, please come again.", "We value our shoplifters." and "The shoplifter is always right.".
But... how can anyone get past the senior citizen that sits at the door and checks receipts??
