I would have enjoyed that walk. My family and I have been doing a lot more outdoor activities. The view up there was beautiful and I loved the sound of nature.

When I went to Puerto Rico with friends years ago, I wanted to go here! But I got vetoed! I loved how it looked inside. And good to know when the gate closes!
Aww that’s unfortunate, but at the same time I don’t blame them! That’s why I kept it a surprise from my husband ‘cause it looks worse than it actually is lol
How beautiful is the view! Puerto Rico is one of the places I plan to visit, and this would be an awesome stop to put down to do!

We’re actually going in June for like 2 days as a pit stop, so if you have any recommendations I’d love to know! & I honestly don’t blame you ‘cause before I left PR when I was 19 I went like 2-3 times & ever since I moved back 2 years ago I’ve made it a point to explore the island more. So I hope you’re able to come experience El Yunque for yourself soon 💖
I wouldn’t even be able to complete the 45 minute one so I can’t imagine the 7 hour one 😅 the road is definitely very narrow I’d be really nervous driving along there lol. Yeah the hike looked very daunting from the starting point but I think it’d be worth it, the views are stunning and it just looks so serene and tranquil!
Yeah after completing this one I noticed we are so not prepared for that 7 hour one yet 😅 I still get pretty anxious driving in these narrow streets, so I don’t blame you lol. & yes so worth it!

Oh wow too bad u needed to leave by 5pm or the Gate would be closed. And sucks u had to go another way coz of the construction. But other then thay what a lovely view! Loved it! 😍
Lots of roadblocks in our way but glad we were able to experience it! Lol
What would happen if you do not leave the gate by the 5pm closure time? Is there another gate to exit through? And dang that sucks that there was construction and you had to walk further to get started.
I’m not entirely sure what would happen. We were too scared to find that out lol. I’d like to think there is a grace period, but I’m not sure. If I ever do find out I’ll make sure to post an update here as I’m also intrigued!
