- WHAT. A. HIKE.
if you're down to hike all day, this adventure is for you! you will put your whole body to the test with : rope climbing, rock climbing, walking on fours, walking through puddles, and more.
the infinity pool is very small, so don't be fooled by the pictures. the natural pool above was quite nice and more comfortable to hang out. :)

Beautiful video ❤!
I like the music choice.😊
So awesome! That's a really long hike but super cool (I want to go but might be hard with the little one). Do people ever camp there? The fruit you found is fresa del monte. Delicious, mild flavor- not poisonous!
It’s a full day excursion! Sadly it is not child-friendly as you need to keep your focus on the ground. Between the mud, water, rappelling, climbing on water ducts…it’s a lot! But you and Britton would have a BLAST. The infinity pool IS rather tiny 😂 but the charco above is lovely to hang out.
Did not see any campers! Before the hike begins there’s a recreational area but a bit creepy 😬 on the way up towards the parking there are some Airbnb’s and hotels.
Thank you so much for the fruit fact!
Will try it when I see it next time ☺️
Beautiful Puerto Rico usa
OMG take me with ya'll if you go back, this looks unreal!
Great video... Question... why no back packs? I was thinking of a back pack cooler.
Hi there! We tried to hike as light as possible. Some paths were very narrow and in some points you would need to use your entire body to climb up/down. A back pack cooler is doable but can be challenging/tiring to hike with. Just recommend bringing water/electrolytes and high protein snacks.
@@saxonsayho awesome thanks for the response

how cold was the water
FREE-ZING
hey i was wondering how long the hike was and did the GPS help going to and from the hike?
Hi! Depending on one's stamina it takes about 2-2.5 hours from the parking lot all the way to the pool. There is no cell service and could not use GPS. Fortunately we were not the only ones hiking and just followed the crowd all the way to the pool.
Honestly, once you reach the "no trespassing" gate all you need to do is follow the path. I do recommend studying the video and can have a better understanding of what you will be coming across during the hike.
I don't think you have to make appointment for national park in Puerto Rico

What are the legal repercussions of crossing that gate?
No hate, just wanna know what I'm getting myself into!
Hi Kelly!
Honestly, I have not read or heard of anyone getting in trouble for crossing the gate…although the government has threatened to fine those who trespass (starting at $200).
It’s really up to you if you want to explore at your own risk. Keep in mind weather has been really bad lately and recently a group of people needed to be rescued due to flooding.
I personally don’t regret hiking up there as it was worth it to me, even if I were to get fined 😂.
Hope this helps!
@@saxonsayho thank you! We are going next March before it starts raining like crazy. We will be safe, if it rains we will just have to miss out. But we are REALLY stoked about going.
Hi we’re in PR right now! Do you know if you have to have an appointment for this specific hike? I know me and my parents have an appointment to go today but would I was going to go on this one to the infinity pool w my friends. But don’t know if I need another appointment to enter this way
Hi John!
Sorry for the late response. My friends and I did the hike on our own; in fact, once we reached the infinity pool we encountered various groups of friends who hiked the trail on their own as well.
I understand there are guided tours to help you throughout the trek which I’m sure require a reservation, but it is so much more fun (and slightly dangerous 😅) to endure it with friends/family.
Hope this helps!
