Try going to the peak next time and to La Roca, which is next to the Yunque peak. The views are incredible. It’s such a magical place.

Great video! Which camera did you use most while hiking El Yunque? Did it rain when you were there, and how did you protect your camera if you used the Sony? I own a Canon R6, and I am not sure if it would be a good idea to take it.
Thanks! I used the Sony A7III with Tamron Lenses and a DJI Osmo action camera. The sony and tamron lenses are weather sealed and can handle mist and some rain drops. I would tuck my camera under my shirt or get to shelter when it rained. JUst wipe the water off asap.
You can also use a gallon sized ziplock bag for the camera body and cut a lens hole too or buy a professional waterproof cover.

Wow hice esta caminata ayer con mi hijo hacia mucho tiempo no visitaba el Yunque pero ahora esos gacebos tienen buenos zinc los arreglaron porque en el video se puede ver que no estaban bien por lo menos ayer estaba soleado y se nos hizo mas facil aunque cansados pero disfrute y valio la pena llegar a la cima muy bonito todo desde alla arriba

I take it you’ve never heard of Washington State, and the Hoh National Rain Forest there?
Good catch! 👍 I missed that when i edited this video a year and a half ago.
She meant to say "Tropical" like is stated in the description of the video.
I grew up in Washington state and have been to the Hoh rainforest a few times.
