Later I tried to call you
Your mama told me you weren't there
She told me don't bother to call again
Unless I cut off all my hair
I get so tired of sneakin' around

    Your mama jumped out, screamin'

In my humble opinion, I think Vai's solo is the narrator thinking about how mad the parents make him, then Johnson's solo is the narrator meeting the parents, and Satch's solo is the parents thinking about how mad the narrator makes them.

Still no closer to being able to play his solo myself, but I hope that someday he might do a video on how to play it because this has got to be one of the top ten most epic guitar solos ever played by anyone.

One thing Vai and Satch have said is that EJ is not only an incredible soloist but he’s also one of the greatest rhythm players they’ve ever heard. Just isolate his guitar and hear how precise his rhythm is and how uniquely he voices the chords. He got that from playing with SRV when he was just a kid in Austin.
