Holy shit, Satriani as always was tunneling some real intense energy right there... I don't love everything that Satriani releases musically, but there are very few things that are guaranteed to hypnotize you quite like when he plays these bluesy solos using the neck pickup of his guitar... wow
Stage left is like the Patriarchs of shred. It's funny....I saw someone on another post make a remark about those Polyphia boys not doing so hot with the old man dad rock stuff. You can hear even clearer on this recording.
To be fair,, the younger guys styles doesn't focus on improvisation as much as composition, not a jam culture in desktop center modern styles , that would be something they can work on I'm sure, they are good at what they do just not great at improv,,,yet
Nita and Paul Gilbert tearing it up. Love their styles.
The sound Satch is amazing
Marshall JVM I believe. If only I could afford one.
They should have a "Paul and Nita show" and tour they both just killed it,, amazing x 300
I agree!
Love you all...... 💖♥️💖♥️
A man who needs no introduction (or whammy bar) - Paul Gilbert.
Seems like he was under playing and could have gone more/faster if he wanted... Wow!
Satriani and Vai. Massapequa lawn Guyland island in da house

They’ve still got a long way to go before they’ll be in the same league as Vai, Satriani and Gilbert!!
@@terrypussypower maybe in this style. None of those guys can play polyphias stuff
I thought the youngsters were amazing. It's not my cup of tea but they are great players.Nita was incredible also

@@garycoates4987 my thoughts exactly. Improvising is a different sort of art.
Sweeeet
HEY! That one dude wasn't playing an Ibanez! How'd he get on stage?
Really good friends with Vai i guess
i would totally pay to see this show... omg.. the sound on this recording is kinda weak, but live im sure it killed..
Yeah... Nothing like seeing it live. Guitar tone heaven!
That tall guy with red guitar should have flipped his hair a few more times, he was way too stationary.
LOL ... Thats Scott LePage of the band Polyphia
08:32, Tim, maybe you should practice your boomer bends a little bit more.
Who is on drums here ?
Pity the audio is so bad.
Apologies. Only had a cellphone handy.
I thought Tim and Scott would be better, their solos were really weak. Everyone else was phenomenal though, especially Joe and Paul
Terrible version compared to 1997! Only Vai and Gilbert play something interesting
To each their own bro. I didn't think it was bad at all.
Frank Zappa did it better
How to ruin a great song, Awful.
