Check your BIOS first if it support UEFI. In my case, the boot mode has 2 options which is Legacy and UEFI so it is safe to do the conversion.
From intel 4th gen mobos should support uefi mode

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I couldn’t figure out how to do this without fresh installing windows. This has been at the back of my mind for 2 YEARS!! I first installed windows, never did it before and clicked Legacy.. I really hated that I did that but didn’t think too much of it until the windows 12 requirements rolled out!! They were times in the night when I thought about this and couldn’t sleep until long past midnight. Thanks so much for this amazing tutorial, but if you follow it you will grow some gray hairs from the stress because you know it might fail. YOUR EPIC!!
(A new disk that I don’t have in my computer showed up though, “System Reserved” Not sure what it is but I don’t care much.

I have a problem everytime i type mbr then press tab, nothing happens. But when i type to full word mbr2gpt.exe, it says "not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file" what to do?

hey guys this is the solution to your problem. i had it too :)
type this command instead
MBR2GPT.EXE /convert /disk:1 /allowFullOS
make sure that the disk number is the right disk. because the default one wasnt right for me.
basically just change the number '1' to the disk number that you want to change.
FYI: the number is dependent on how the drives were set up in the pc. That's why it is different :)

Thank you! It solved my problem. There was a line in the output of the command saying something about a problem in a xml file, but the rest of the output seemed fine and the process seemed to have completed succesfully! Whatever the problem with the xml file was, it didn't seem to affect my system at all.
I had this exact issue with an xml file, so this is reassuring to see!
I don't know how, but this simple tutorial just helped me. I've been trying to figure out how to change my BIOS for hourse and yet your simple tutorial helped me only for 5 minutes 😂
Wow, incredibly easy and to the point. Like someone else said, I got the WinRE error in the command prompt but I just ignored it and everything was fine. Now I can use Resizable Bar and AMD Smart Access Memory.

It said that conversion was completed successfully, but it couldn't update ReAgent, and I can't enable WinRE due to it being unable to update Boot Configuration Data. Do you have any advice on what to do?

Thank you for your help. Turns out the reason i couldn't go to bios boot screen was due to my MBR drive being in legacy causing it to skip. Did what you said in the video and BOOM! bios splash screen and i was able to update it fixing issues with my computer hitting blue screen.

only one info if you have 4 partitions already on C:/ drive
you need to lower it to 3 partitions, otherwise you get an error

Just to help those that might run into what I had. If after following the steps in the video, you can't enter bios, this is because of fast boot, simply unplug your windows drive and boot up, you can now go into bios to disable CMS to boot normally again.

You can install without upgrade, just create a pen and install
@@shreyassuresh9221 works exactly like in the vídeo, my pc have the minimum requirements, DirectX 12 and TPM 2.0, my only issue is the legacy boot which with this vídeo now it's uefi, don't needed to reinstall Windows 10

I was need this to make my M.2 SSD to show in the Boot options list after disabling CMS Support and activating Secure Boot to pass in windows 11 compatibility check.

1. Bios Version (Legacy)
2. Disk Partitioning (MBR)
3. Secure Boot (It is a UEFI feature and it wasn't detected even though it was enabled)

@@kaboratech Hi, need a little help. did the to my Dell Vostro 1500 laptop. In BIOS there is NO setting to change Legacy to UEIF. Now my laptop will not boot. Is there a way to set the system back to Legacy from UEIF with Command prompt if I take the SSD out and boot it up from my PC? This worked fine on my PC. I could change it boot legacy to UEFI in the bios. Strange that I can't in the Dell bios. (Dell Vostro 1500 BIOS A06 2008)

I can't even complete the first step in Command Prompt after typing mbr and pressing tab. Windows makes a chime and does nothing. Been looking up solutions for an hour and none seem to work. Truly a shame.

Go to boot options and select uefi windows boot manager, if the computer is uefi capable it will work
