Big kisses of gratitude from GATINEAU, near the border of Ottawa ! XOX
In 1976, I stayed at the Gander Holiday Inn overnight on my way back to my job on Fogo Island. I went to the bar and ordered a Molson's Ex. The bartender looked at me sharply and said, "What part of the Mainland are you from?" Was it my accent or was it the beer that tipped him off? I think it was the brand of beer because lots of Newfoundlanders speak Canadian English now. I can relate to Power's comment about calling a Dominion story Loblaw's, although from another video where the videographer is touring a Newfoundland Dominion, it's very obvious that the Dominion stores in Newfoundland are now owned by Loblaw's. An easy mistake to make.
Sammy, one of Canada’s all time greats.

Nice work Tom, Sammy is a fantastic performer and it’s great to hear him speak about this craft.
Stand up comedy sounds dangerous though.
Loved it ! Very interesting to learn about his process
Great interview, very insightful.
