No one can replace Brad, but Tommy, you did a damn good job! What a wonderful dream that came true for you! You go Tommy Decarlo!! Enjoy!
As good as Brad was, he wasn't that great. There are plenty of vocalists who are as good or better... The current Boston lead singer is awesome.
People talk about the singer replacement not realizing that no other member of that band played on any of the albums...tom played everything except drums on the first 2 albums....so every player is a replacement..great new singer..owns it
instablaster
I’d go see this line up👍
Amen... As good as Brad was, he wasn't that good.
THIS FELLOW IS A GREAT REPLACEMENT.... GOD BLESS DELP.....
Brad Delp was the voice of Boston and is sorely missed! RIP Brad! You are sorely missed!
He sounds good people shouldn't hate
Thank you that Joe guy on top is going to hell you are right:)
Brad had a more soulful feeling but its all good. Me like.
Haters hate , that's all they're good for. I grew up with incredible band and their music still rocks almost 50 years later !
Boston was underrated but dang it has pretty great music that was made 40 plus years thank you brad delp god bless you
great lead singer , they should be blessed.
What I love about him is in the contracts part, he doesnt try to hit the high notes, he just sang naturally
One of my favorite Boston songs ... Hyannis, Rhode Island. Close to home!
Brad could never be replaced- NO one can be.. Does it mean these tunes should
never be played again..All the lead vocalist that have tried just add a little something
each time!!
I think was the absolute best
The Duesenberg of rock singers
Nobody could replace him
Dang that Gibson Les Paul sounds so good!!! Tom knows how to make it work!
Thanks for posting this, incredible performance!
Thank you for posting this...my Boston fix!
after reading all these comments all I can say is very few bands are the same live as they are in the studio, i wouldnt have given this video the time of day if it werent for THE AWESOME couple of Boston albums from the seventies...I'm glad to see Tom still carrying on. I'm sure Brad's spirit is floating around when they play this stuff. Long Live Boston!
THIS BOSTON BAND IS ONE OF THE TIGHTEST IF NOT THE #1, YEOW!
Love this song always & this sounds quite well! Boston had their own sound & I loved it. RIP Brad. Rock On!
Nice. Thanks for posting Boston!! Rock ON!!
I can't get enough Boston.
I think he is doin a great job !!
God , I love to see BOSTON live , the best live band I have ever seen !!!!! If you have not , go see them......outstanding !!!!!!!!!!
I was 15 when this band broke with more than a feeling the whole album blew me away and they are one of the main reasons I picked up the guitar and still play in bands to this day I know the people who are hating on here are not musicians and don't have a clue how ground breaking this music was Tom is a genius building the equip to produce the sounds on guitar he wanted then recording the whole album in his basement all I can say is unreal Brother :-)
I feel you - I saw them in concert around 76, or so (about age 16) and was beyond amazed by the live show sound production achieved in a huge arena. It was spot on to the record, and had a huge influence on my musical path in the way of mixing sound.
?I'd love to see someone nowadays do the work it took him to create their sound. I can tell from the very first second of their song on the radio that it's Boston and have enough time to crank the volume fucking up!
Joe Schmo me to brother
Hell yeah! I wish I could have gotten a guitar, though!
@David Mohr. .....well this song played here doesn't demonstrate all that "Unreal" that you speak of. This rendition is tuned down, the vocals are way tuned down here in parts especially when the lyrics about signing company contracts.
Singer's tonality is there but lacks charisma.
They pack a stage with at least 6 players instead of 5. It's okay. It's genius Tom's toy but it's not ground breaking the way he tries to replicate the music live anymore. So I do not call that "hate" to point that out. "Fact" is more accurate.
Studio sound. Absolutely groundbreaking and different like you say.
It's just "Less" of a Feeling" for me these days the way they go about it.
The members that are in this band, the ones that are in this video, should stay in the band forever. They are very awesome.
Burton Cummings does a great Delp....love...music...play ...play....play-uh-ayyyy
Boston still rocks like no other band can !!!
If you would notice, they are extending the life of the band.
They sounded great tonight..and David Victor definitely finds the octave above--plus he's an excellent guitarist and performer as well. The harmonies were amazing, it was an amazing performance by all!
Wooooooooooooohooooooooooo we are going to see them in Nashville May 5, 2017 with Joan Jett... I am so excited... Bringing back some awesome memories...I love the music man and they don't sound bad... Nashville will be rocking...
OHHH MAN That souns so sweet... that voice still has every bit of range!!!
Great sound! Can't wait to see you tonight in Kansas City!!!
thanks love this band.
this song always makes me wana jam all day every day
Soundin' really good! Always loved that band. Some different players now, but keepin' the good tunes goin',.... good for them!!!
you guys kick ass ,roll on boston,
They do a great job of making original band! Good Job!!!!!!!
I live in massachusetts, and it makes the song that much better to hear them mention boston, and hyannis in one of there songs. ive been to both places haha. ROCK IN PEACE Brad.
The guy has a mullet for heaven sakes!
I saw this Tour in Del Mar (front row seat, thank you for asking) Lumber Boy was great! Try for yourself to perform "live" one time and see how things sound for you.....I thought they sounded fantastic. Brad Sweet was still on the tour, He and LB took turns at the Mic and it was great. Phil was churning out the licks and Kimberly was so nice to us, handing us picks and smiles! The whole night was just absolutely fantastic. Whenever they come back to the West Coast, I'll pay for a seat!
Brilliant move to bring the great bass player onboard...she's really great.
thank you -
Amen brother I agree 100 percent. I couldn't have said it better myself
This is tight and kickass, no question.
How many old bands are original today ?? I find it amazing that some one can step up to the plate and allow this band to move forward and still make a living preforming .
Boston is fucking great !!! Makes me think of the summer of 76' when life was great !!
This lead singer actually does a very good job on the vocals. I don't get what all the negative comments are about? He of course isn't Brad Delp, but he is a good fit for the new lineup, and does a very good job. In fact, if you don't look at him and just listen, he sounds a lot like BD. You people who criticize, certainly couldn't do nearly as good a job, so you should quit talking so negative. Don't see you up on stage playing in Boston with TS!! Give credit where credit is due. This vocalist is good. Not much of a showman, but his vocals are good. It is sad, the original band lineup is gone, but the music is still good. Not much different than Journey. Their new vocalist is no Steve Perry, but he does a good job on the songs. I wouldn't go see these bands live anymore without there original vocalists, but the replacements in these two cases are decent. Van Halen, was actually better with Sammy Hagar on vocals. There's a case of the replacement singer being better than the original. Rush is still the best, all time, all around, older band on the planet! All original members, and still going strong selling out all over the world. (And yes, I know Neil technically wasn't the original drummer, but everyone with half a brain knows he is a legend and certainly made Rush the success that they became). It was meant to be for them! There's a band that will never replace any members if one left for some reason. It will be a sad day when Rush, decides to retire, although they deserve to sit back and enjoy the fruits of their long success.
I agree, and have heard some live Boston with Brad singing, and it was nothing like the studio recordings.

Kevin G Yes! This sounds terrific!
I did just that! Kevin, I throw on a pair of phones & closed my eyes!... presto!
... rip Mr Delp... one of the best vocalists in the rock music industry... imo
Thank you for all your brilliant stuff...means a lot to people like me ,who have been deprived of good classic rock clips...much appreciated!!
reply:

Dude.. WOW.. Really.. Like your video's are so well done you must have a team of guys working with you cause wow, your footage. ALL OF IT! Is A1 not fucking bullshit. I noticed cause there all at the same venue in the states. Could of fooled me and told me this was a DVD of each band, your pro. Keep it up, I subbed.
AWESOME!
All time "Great Band".
Great Job Tommy! from your old buddy Doug Boehlert
I had no idea this was yours saskatchawan. this is so cool this song has to do with a very sacred name in the ways of the Native American. The name is Eagle and this song goes right along with it.
great version
Awesome!!!
Miss brad delp
Woah! What is Micheal Sweet from my favorite metal band doing in my favorite rock band?? Thats awesome!
RIP Brad!
great...no matter what anyone says..........
Boston sound is out of this World .Queen and Boston had similar style ,s shades of Freddie Mercury there
Those heavenly inversions though...
NO ONE can replace Brad! Boston no longer exists for me.
Legende zauvijek !
Great!
Great Voice Ex Home Depot Pro Desk Dude
impressed at hitting those high notes
I think that's the chick.
BOSTON THE BEST ROCK BAND 👋🤘❤️🌈
I finally seen Boston last year after missing seein them in '95 and settling for Alice Cooper & Scorpions in '96
I wish I was a bass guitar ..
She's a beauty... the bass that is.
So is Kim!
GREAT SONG ❤️🎸🌈😎🔥👋
Классно !!! Саня . г. Новосибирск.
@Twenty17 Tom Scholtz has been wearing that brace for a long time... I got to see them back in the early 2000s' when Bard was still alive. Tom had the brace on then.
Awsome
Dont hate...They have done their job in rock!
People need to remember that the studio versions, Brad Delp sang the song TWICE, he harmonized himself. You can't do that live. So, if anything the backing vocals are off harmony, but the lead singer is nailing his part.
damn right he is.peaple brad was great, but brad overdubbed and stacked his vocals .yes he was great.but dont shit on the guy that is doing a good job in replacment .that is bull
That guy sings very well .
I think he sounds good👍🏼 no one can replace Brad Delp
Great video from an equally awesome band! Thank you for uploading this video :) Does anyone know if it's available on dvd or blue ray?
A diamond in the rough discovered luck for Boston
ma che bella bassista !
SCHOLZ......GENIUS...........FREAKING NATURAL GENIUS..
still a great band, next.
That is one Tight Ass band God Bless Boston.
Sorry, nobody can replace Brad Delp's vocals. My ear can only hear Brad's voice......anyone else cannot compare.
RIP. Brad
Sounds like Brad. Good job!
He definitely knows vocals
tom love that liberace signature model goldtop shit
I saw Boston at the Boston Garden in 78 when Sammy Hagar opened for them. Great concert and abundance of weed. These guys just don't cut it....not the same energy and intensity.
Yeah...hard to believe 60 year old guys can't rock as hard as they did in their 20's....hilarious.
She Has A Nice Set
BOSTON , UNA BANDA FUERA DE ESTE MUNDO !!!
ELLOS REVOLUCIONARON EL USO DE LA GUITARRA Y EL VOCALISTA Y USO DE COROS .
lead singer is a huge rock star!! Lovw it!!
@MrFenderkev Tommy joined the group based on his performances of Boston cover songs from a MySpace page! That's really cool! You're right, he does a good job. Anyone who thinks a band is gonna sound the same after the lead singer isn't involved anymore has got issues. He's doing a good job IMO!
Lijepa je plavuša.
give the guy a chance will ya!brad would have loved it!i should know,i knew him well
The new guy sounds amazing it's like listing to there debut album.
Nice "Live" version by Boston.
whoa... Pretty chick + bass + singing = excellence.
Tommy you ain’t Brad but you are awesome! Keep on rockin! Tom Schultz God bless you for keeping the band alive!
