The only person who could make him back down was Judge Judy.
LOL !!!!
John isnt one to disrespect people who haven't disrespected him. Once she pointed out that she had not disrespected him, he realized he was the one in the wrong. That's what makes him a man and not a baby. I wouldn't call that Judy making him back down though. That was them showing each other mutual respect.
He apologized.
That is backing down.
I just consider that being a man and showing respect. I have never seen the whole show though. That's the only time I've seen John disrespect someone without reason to. Probably embarrassed him some to come off like a twat.
I will always have respect for the man, he says what he thinks, doesn't sugar coat, doesn't apologize for it, means what he says, is as blunt as a cudgel and doesn't care what anyone thinks about him.
I'm from a very tiny Appalachian town in Alabama, born in the '60's, so we never got interesting or different music on the radio around here. I'll never forget when my best friend introduced me to her elementary school best friend who had just returned stateside from her daddy being in the Army, stationed in Germany...when she made a cassette copy of Nevermind the Bollocks. My life changed. I am grateful to Mr. Lydon for being the sole motivating factor for me to learn as much about and hear as much music as possible the rest of my life! It helped a lot when I finally moved away from the small town to Atlanta...
Wow that exchange with Judge Judy. Immediately apologizes when he knows he's wrong, that's a real man
*Courtney Love* Kurt’s money
Lol love the shared civility between him and Judge Judy)))
He's right about Courtney 5:10
Ferdinand Stephons he should have mentioned all the clear cut evidence that she had him murdered too.
LOOK into the case and how dodgy the whole story is , she paid that junkie friend to cover it up and she supplied him with junk for his effort , she was and is a whore that pissed up millions , even had her daughter bailing her out , she's a fucking mess ........ don't get me wrong i'm not a curt fan boi , i didn't think that much to his music but she played more a part in his death than curt did
He was dead on
He was right but his own rebellion is pretty empty as well. He's always contradicting himself.
Yes she kill me
He was just honest and quick to speak truthfully without filter.
He’s an amazing person, people will hate on anyone who is brave enough to do what’s right
5:07
The question everyone asked the grunge generation.
Johnny rotten is an inspiration to rebels of all ages
S K G
Green Day is great!
So are the Sex Pistols.
I’m sure he doesn’t hate Green Day fans.
I wish people were as real as him. Huge respect.
That last bit, where he's calling out Courtney, Ozzy and Axle!!! Hahaha epic I can't believe how respectful that banter was from Judge Judy. Very cool.
Johnny Rotten reminds me of a real life DROP DEAD FRED LMAO
Jeremy Whitaker yes. Lol
Jeremy Whitaker My father had a small role in that movie. Glad to see a reference to it! And yes, I see the similarities. 👍🏼😂
1:29 I almost pissed myself laughing!
- "I havn't been disrespectable have I?"
- "No you havn't ... Apologies."

@@klemenator maybe
I love his snarkiness, its hysterical 😂😂😂
“I’m underwhelmed” I’m so in love with Jonny Rotten.
Johnny: "They're wonderful people..."
Inteviewer: "Are they?"
Johnny: "Oh yes, they really turn us on."
😂😂😂
"oh sorry....RUDE word" *rolls eyes*
"Next question..."
Ever so sheepishly... "shit." Like getting caught by the teacher in class. LEGENDARY! "GOOD LOOD"!
He couldn't express himself because of the social politness and 'bad words'
Johnny is probably one of the freest human beings on the planet. He doesn’t conform to others rules or conventions. He’s like the last human being in “invasion of the body snatchers”. I never particularly liked him, but greatly admired the fact that he is always true to himself, he’s never been afraid to call bullshit out, always has from a young age. Good for him.
Johnny aint right but he aint wrong ether.
😀
Somehow him saying that he was simply underwhelmed was the most hurtful comment on the whole video.
I AM NOW BEING REMOVED FROM THE ROSEANNE BARR SHOW
And now they both love Trump. Go figure.
@@bahhumbug9824 damn, johnny rotten is a trumpie? thats sad AND embarrassing.
Sorry to hear about Johnny's wife, god bless .
Holy shit he was on point with the Jimmy Saville comments
He has pointed out during his time in the limelight many other things that turned out to be correct but when the bought and paid for media paints him as the village idiot they cover the truth cos most sheeple consider him an amusement.
As were many people. They were banned too.
Love this man! He’s a national treasure!
He was right when he sang” your future dream’s a shopping scheme “.
john, probably saw globalism coming, before the ptb told the public how great it would be.visionary
Lyndon and Mustaine should have a beer together.
They are very similar attitude-wise....they might get along well, you never know.
BTW...it's Lydon
Yeah, my bad
That would be like a ball of red hair. Probably Josh Homme could join too.
brandname6 lol brilliant
brandname6 LMAO!
Never Mind The Bollocks is one of the greatest albums ever to be released.
He’s so able to see through people and its brilliant
He’s right about Jimmy Seville. Jimmy’s evil incarnate.😑
Damn... Even John could see through Courtney's facade, shame Kurt couldn't.
He is pretty much an expert when it comes to blonde US sluts ruining the lives of great guys blinded by love.
Preach
@@jasmineleather6756 you're cheesy
Best Ever Epic Millennial even though you’re name says millennial. Stfu go vape and complain about how everyone hates you
Well, he knew the original Courtney...
He'd seen that show before and it didn't end well then.
You have to love Johnny. "What are you (Courtney Love) rebelling against? You're just a pile of confusion!" .... "Courtney Love Kurt's Money" Lmao
I’m reading his autobiography at the moment he’s a deeply intelligent man. Talks a lot of sense
TV Hosts and Interviewers love him. He gives them something to talk about and he knows it.
"he's like ur dad, inny this geezer"
im crying this is literally dripping in british
I used to have no use for Johnny Rotten, but now he is one of the celebrities I would most love to hang out with for a day.
2:25 that's actually pretty sweet.
How incredible that he had the courage to say the things he did at a time when it was not cool to do so. I just love him! Why did I never hear about him before? I heard of the Sex Pistols but he is something else. Grown men still do not have the courage that he had all those decades ago.
Couldn’t be more right about axel rose! Long Live Johnny Rotten!!!
