- I have watched the two movies Shirley Temple made with Randolph Scott and I found they were amazing together. Their interaction on screen is so wonderful, so affectionate.
I loved both films, but "Susannah of the Mounties" is probably my favourite, as it's so touching, and the dance scene is just precious.
Not many know, that except those two films, Shirley appeared next to Randy in one of her earliest (uncredited) screen appearances in the movie "To The last Man" in 1933.
So here is my little tribute to this adorable pairing, including footage from the 3 movies they did together. Hope you enjoy it!

You're so right, Shirley brought the best out of Randy, with her he was everything - funny, affectionate, protecting, vulnerable and shining like the sun.
I love his tough Western image though, but this is just so cute.

Randy was such a handsome, I just love everything about him!!!
Yes he was a handsome man, but there was something more than physical attractiveness. The quality that is rare but comes through the screen of a genuine good man, it is all over him, a natural born actor.

They actually made three movies together... the first one was before Temple was a star
The way he is with Shirley puts me in mind of how he must have been with his own children.
I read his son's book and he seemed so understanding and the love was so great between the Scott family.
One of my heroes each time I see where he's going to be on TV I am.
There will never be any one else like him.
He and Gary Cooper were best.
Loved the video.
